I was sitting by my computer in one, boring january day, and I thougt that I'll traslate Episode 1 of The Way to Polish. Actually I'm doing this for my own purpose, but why not talk with Lun about publishing it?

Already I'm traslating Database and in-game texts, and I have some problems with few sentences or names such as "Swiftfoot" or "Sweet flaming lands". From this reason I'll wait for Russian translation of The Way Ep.1, Russian is very similar language to Polish, and that translation will (errr... should?) help me a lot. After translating Database and in-game texts I'll ask Lun for font wich he used to write button captions in menu and texts in titlescreen (or he will edit them himself, with a bit of my help).

I've got almost everything to complete this translation, English-Polish dictionary and vice versa, Polish version of RPG Maker 2000 and Polish font enclosed to it. But I have lack of Internet access (agreement with ISP terminated since feubrary), that will make my job a 'bit' difficult, especially contact with me.

Wow, that sounds like quite an undertaking. I applaud you for your effort. I didn't realize there was a Russian translation in the works, hopefully that will help you. Good luck!

It's actually Japanese. Sorry, but that got my shorts in a bundle. You did it twice so I figured it wasn't a typo.

Preki, I'm quite certain that when you do get the translation finished, Lun will be more than happy to host it.

We're going to have like six translations of Episode 1, but most of the series still untranslated. Think about how cruel this is to people in France, Italy, etc, still waiting for episode 2 or 3. It's even worse than the waiting Lun put us through! (By the way... Why are the French and Italian translations called by the English names for the language, but what I assume is the German one is called "Deutsche"?)

This brings up a good point. Why sub the worst one? Start with either 2, 4, 5 or 6.

Becuase it's easier dum-dum. Also, you can't exaclty start half-way during the series.

I've awlays thought it was Japaneese not Japanese. Nobody ever pointed out the correct spelling before this day.

If you look around, there is only one other episode translated into another language. Also like I said before ep1 is the WORST one, while you have the shining Ep2. Ep2 will get more people to want to know about The Way then ep1 will. Don't just say its easier unless he is planing to translate them all unlike all the other failed translations that never got pasted ep1.

Don't complain for lack of next episodes translations, if I'll finish this one, then I'll try to do next.

Episode 1 is shorter and thus easier to translate. Translating Episode 1 will give translators experience meaning translating others in the series becomes easier and thus less likely to screw up.

Holy crap! Houston, we've got a problem!

Game is crashing after one scene in intro, and dumping out an error message related to RPG_RT.exe file. I have to fix it in order to complete translation, but HOW?

Try downloading the game again and switch the old .exe file with the new one.

I checked again map events and everything seems to be OK. Aahh... why I don't have my own Internet access. In school we have locked pendrives, CD-ROMs and even freakin' floppy drives (our miss admin suxx alot). If that crap can be disabled, I would upload a screenshot here.

I tried to to save something to my external HDD at college but for some reason it's read-only there. Bizzare.

You know what was the BUG? I accidentally turned controller event on E1IntroMap7 into Paralell Process, and that caused crash. Lands... I'm almost like noob
