So, The Way was one of the very first RM2k games I ever played. Unfortunately I never beat it so I recently went back to play through the whole thing. Well, I got to episode 5 and was very happy with my stats and everything, but I run into a bug and so redownload the episode to fix the problem.

I have all my RPG Maker games in one folder, and so to avoid having my game overwritten by the crappy stat file that comes with the game (I don't know what I was thinking- why would it be overwritten if it was in a separate folder?) I took it out of Ep. 5 sub-folder into the one containing all of the games. So, now I go and install ep. 5, and for whatever reason it decides to place everything in that same folder, instead of a sub-folder, and voila, my game is overwritten and I lost all that hard work.

If anyone just happens to have a nice file lying at the beginning of ep. 5 and wouldn't make sending it my way I would appreciate it. Otherwise... how easy is it to play through with that pre-made file?

If I remember correctly the ubersave files include max relationship points with everyone, which will actually keep you from getting a character in EP6. Just a warning.

And that is precisely why I played The Way in RPG Maker. Hacks, ftw.
