Something interesting I noticed about the subtitles.

It's a well known fact that the subtitles of the first four The Way episodes have begun to form a poem. What you probably haven't noticed yet is that they're also exactly the same number of letters, which means episode 6 will most likely have the same number of letters as "Everyone Must Bleed".

This was observed a long time ago.

But still, it's an interesting factoid. Another one of Lun's nice touches.

It also means it will take 8 episodes under standard poetry, or maybe 10 if it's like a sonnet.

>_>

SHUT UP!

That topic never made any mention of the fact that the subtitles have identical numbers of LETTERS.

Case in point:

The Land Beneath the Sky (20)
Echoes of the Past Decry (20)
A Lost Love Carried On (18)
Words to a Lonely Song (18)
Everyone Must Bleed (17)
(something with 17 letters in it that rhymes the bleed)

Rhue gets the sex he needs...

*counts on fingers*

That's 21...damn, then that won't be the next title.

Feed?

Heed?

Creed?

Dirty Deed?

Now for dirty deeds!

That's 17 right there.

It can't be coincidence that two subsequent sets of subtitles both not only rhyme but have identical numbers of letters. There has to be some significance to it.

One interesting note that some have probably noticed...

Plyn
Hylyn
Corlyn
Deralyn

Each one has one more letter than the last all the way to Pharaphalyn.
Some people are just so clever...

Letters have nothing to do with poems structure, unless it's one of those wierd ones that they even break the rules of Poetic Licence to make it work... OMG! That or it somehow gets the lines perfect... and this is Lun... so... damn... I just proved myself wrong... usually it's just the number of sylables in a poem.

The Land Beneath the Sky - 6
Echoes of the Past Decry - 7
A Lost Love Carried On - 6
Words to a lonely Song - 6
Everyone must Bleed - 6 (If you pronounce Everyone properly, Ev-er-y)

No foreseeable pattern, but meh, gotta wait until the last episode until you can fully see.

Lun has mentioned to me that he will very likely post the next title when the Beta is released. (which has been delayed a bit longer due to heavy distraction issues) sorry guys, but he's my friend and needs a life just like everyone else.
so basiclly a few will play but all should learn the title. interesting observations by the way (pun intended).

I always thought Trihan was very insightful to notice the number of letters I used.

The Land Beneath the Sky (20)
Echoes of the Past Decry (20)
A Lost Love Carried On (18)
Words to a Lonely Song (18)
Everyone Must Bleed (17)

And of course.

Truth Hides Nothing (17)
