So far, I've seen the PS's faceset compared with Rhue's and Gaius', and Gaius' was the closer match. But if you take a look at the actual charsets of Gaius, Rhue and the PS, the PS matches Rhue's almost exactly. Look:



1. Rhue

2. Rhue shadowed (a shadowed version of many characters is included in their charset)

3. Phantom Slasher

4. Rhue again, filled in the empty spaces he has that the PS doesn't.

As you can see in # 4, there are only a few places that need to be filled in to make the PS. The two charsets are an almost perfect match. I'll post later with a comparison of Gaius and the PS.

Well, I kind of assumed Gaius saying it out loud would perhaps lead the player to believe that anyway.

I figured by now the charset thing was something everyone understood... I'm pretty sure everyone had noticed it before I bothered mentioning it almost a year ago. Comparing Gaius charset the Phantom Slasher would be a waste and as Jeramyu mentioned in another topic, "Lun has already said he finds it funny when people use that charset/faceset matching for evidence of anything."

But posting the picture sure does help show people, my suggestion was to put Rhue's charset in one tab in an RM2k event and the Phantom Slasher's in another, then switch between them.

Maybe Gaius is of a higher power, and he stirs stuff up because he is supposed to. You know, like the Cat in the Hat in Dr. Suess books.

This may be the only time you see me use internet slang outside of mocking someone but for this situation, I feel it must be used.

Ialready posted who the PS was liek 4 months ago. Didn't you see the hindin pic in the game or read The Way Cheat thread. This is a pic from The Way: What is the need E6

Why do people assume that if somebody was the PS, their char sets have to match somewhat. Firstly if you shade in many charsets, they will all look sortoff similar. And secondly, who says the PS has to take the same form as whom ever it is in human form, or if it has a human form at all.

Most people say "ho noes! Rhue cant be the phantom slasher because he sees him in that one part!"

Free your minds a bit! There are things happening in The Way that extend far beyond the physical realm.
