The Way life lessons

Have you played enough Way to take out quotes and interpret them as life lessons?

I know I did.

I've passed The Way 1 week ago, and that's what happened, I noted out some quotes on a piece of paper, which mean lot to me.

Traziun: People tend to fear things they don't understand.

Lexus: ... Don't you have your own opinion?
Slade: I'm not here for social hour. I'm here to protect you.

Slade: I don't understand you Rhue, you're strange.
Rhue: Look who's talking. At least I fight for what I want. You're just the tool of a crooked governement.

Slade: Did I come at a bad time? I hope so.

Scatha: The romantic, self sacrifing man is a fraud. Don't you see?

Slade: Only people with something to hide wear masks.
Scatha: Then why aren't you wearing one, Slade?

Mother: You better develop some personality, because you will never be beautiful.

Gallagher: Be still friend, they are watching us... even now I can feel their eyes upon us...

This one's Fight-Clubish but still..

Rhue: I don't know what I was seeking. I don't know what I had hoped to find. When you waste away to a point where there's
nothing left, that's when you find truth. When the clouds of desire are swept away by the cleansing wind of suffering, that's when
you see clearest. But can you let go all that you cherish? For everything will be destroyed. Both joy and despair. And even if
you do this, will it save you?
No one knows.
You will never find yourself. You can only create that which is to be yours. Why are you afraid? Because my hands are unsteady
and my mind is ill. I can't change, I don't know how.
Just as well. A moment of happiness isn't meaning. It feels shallow to me. But I don't know any other way.

And finally my favorite among all

Dirk: Nice weather today, eh?

And you, what did you learn from The Way?

Apparently Jackrats are very familier with their own waste. Clearly a reference to Germans!

It taught me to hate people, and to resort to violence in all situations. Before The Way, I was a peaceful and loving guy.

I learned to make sure that you have sweet notch items equipped so when you beat that Barrucha you get a Plunge bonus.

On several levels, I laugh at this. Strayed, you rascal.

Yep, The Way taught me a lot about my ex-girlfriend (burn her!!! Flaming fires BURN HER!!) and another women.

"She has a pretty face and ugly black heart."

And I think that Traziun might be right either about Dancing Violet and my ex-girlfriend. And most likely... he was right, but I noticed that too late :(

Oh, by the Way guys :D, hello again ^^

Yep, you're quite right, but that blonde wretch (sorry to her for that, maybe she'll be less rude for me) is probably not intrested in her actual boyfriend, but his scrappy, decaying Toyota (cars sux). Therefore, almost all girls are flaming materialists.

That makes no sense.

That's the truth. Sorry, Sling. The truth hides nothing... that's the most righteous sentence of The Way.

EDIT: Sling, what does'nt make sense? The way wich I wrote my previous post, or behavior of my ex-girl?

No. I didn't understand about obsessing over cars makes you a materialist. Unless by materialist you actually mean consumerist.

Makes ME? No, sorry. I screw cars, I don't have a one. Instead I have good will, but my classmates still see me as bad guy, she too. You know why? Because (like I mentioned before) I don't have a car, I don't go to parties (I suck at dancing, as well I hate techno music), I enjoying my hobbys instead of drinking vodka or cheap vine somewhere in bushes (typical activity for polish teenagers, but not for me), etc., etc... In orther words - I'm almost like Rhue.

Sling-

If you eschew good personality characteristics such as a good heart and kindness and a great sense of humor, and eschew even physical characteristics such as rock hard abs and a steel glute in favor of an automobile, then, to my understanding, this makes you a materialist, one who places value in the purchasble tangible over the intangible. A consumerist is someone who places value in buying, from what I understand.

It's important to note, I graduated from college a while ago, so I'm not up on the new and important and meaningless labels they're ascribing to things that have been around for a while.
