Shadow Inn Fight - Episode 4

I've read that it's possible to get +5 Focus stat increase here by completeing the fight against the Blue Scarves in the basement of the Shadow Inn. However! No matter how many times I try, this stat increase eludes me. I've even had had a look at the coding in RM2K, and can't find any evidence of stat increase for this...
Does it even exist? And if so, how can I trigger it?

yeah there is a bonus, i kept on tryin but i died, so i just skipped it and oddly enough i got the bonus

He obviously lacks the ability that those greater than him possess in that there mini-game... When such is show, one must resorting to skipping, as I often do. Pif.

lacks the ability my ass, every mini game i did except that one and the ninga one, cuz every time a dude just popped up at the bottom and i couldnt kill him so he killed me and the shadow inn mini game i skipped cuz i kept on dyin, i kept on tryin but i kept on losin cuz i didnt kill those dudes so i dont kno how ya coulda won so LACKS THE ABLILTY MY ASS

ive never lost a minigame... exept for the "field trip run time"* with Traziun, Rhue and Kloe, i lost two times in 5 attempts (i have replayed a few times)
* Where you run in a line and shoot energy form your blade!
why doesn't rhue shoot energy in every fight?

The dancing was the hardest...took me several tries to beat it...
I beat all of the mini-games 'cuz I foof noobs.

The only time I died in the bandit fight (Shadow Inn thing) was the first time I played it. My comp slowed down and it was all dark and I couldn't do crap. The Blue scarves owned me, but I easily beat them the second time.

The first time I played that mini game I lost because I thought there was only one Blue Scarf, and once I killed him I stopped doing anything. Then I got killed. But then I whooped up on my second attempt.
The dancing sucked. I couldn't see what Lexus was doing.
