Hmmm... I was thinking... there is any way to win Strata in the End of The Way? What happens if you do it?
And if TW ends at Episode 6, why at Episode 5 i haven't learnt any Step 3, 4 or 5 Blade Arts yet? Strange. :?

any plunge you do with Strata will end in a loss.

You can beat him at the end of episode 5; you just need good stats accumulated throughout the earlier episodes.

Given that there's no indication that The Way will end after six episodes, the absence of any higher-level blade arts simply serves as evidence that it will not end there, but will continue at least through an episode 8.

Thanks to both =)
I was really sad about a near end of the series.

I had 112 hit points and a Plunge of 8 whenever I got to Strata. I just used the F9 thing in the Test Play since it became obvious that I didn't have a chance.

I thought you get 2 step 3 blade arts by the end of ep 5. One you got from Kygar, I don't remember were the other one was.

You can have two level 3 blade arts at the end of episode 5: Weak Link from Kygar and Backlash from Strata.

I was actually able to get a step 4 injury on Strata on my first pass at the end of E5. Of course I had built up in previous episodes.

The bigger acomplishment would be beating Strata without a step 4 injury. I've been trying to do that but at some point one of us gets one and i have to try again.

Heh, that's so true. Lun needs to change that battle a bit...

I've done it both ways, but the level 4 injury is a lot easier. It requires some curious luck to do enough damage to defeat him, but not to totally wallop him.

Well, I tried to do it again, and I found out that updating to version 1.6 will screw up a save file thats a the part were you choose to battle Strata or not. The scene sarts over but you start out standing were you should be for the plunge. Now i got to go and fix that before i can try and beat him fairly.

Mid-event saves causes that problem if the event is changed.
Anyway I really hope Lun has found a way to at least lower a bit the probability of a lv4 injury. They just kill the mood of the battle.

Unless the 4th degree thresh is increased, all the fights are going to be like that from here on in. It's the price you pay when your plunge increases way way faster than your damage thresh.

I kind of like it myself. It'd be better if the fight versus Strata could at least last long enough for me to get a finisher in. On average he dies a pass or two before I have enough FP, even with Fenshu working at it...

But there's no denying that that 1st pass 4th degree feeling is pretty satisfying too.
