How cesta got the pendant!

Postby lheomane » Sun Oct 03, 2004 4:24 pm

I was just playing ep1 again and just at the beginning I see this spark in the water so I go up to it and Rhue says "Some kind of pendant?"
"... Almost like the one she used to
wear... I have no need of it. “Then he throws it into the water. And says, "I wonder where this winding river will
take it... What a sad thing... to
have no control over one's
destiny... “ Anyone see the irony in this?

If you're implying that Violet picked up the pendant after Rhue tossed it into the water in episode 1, consider the following:

1) You can skip that event entirely;
2) Rhue goes almost batty when he sees the pendant he recognizes around Violet's neck, yet he shows little emotional reaction to the similar one, implying that he could clearly recognize that the first one wasn't Serena's; and
3) The scene with Cetsa and Kloe fighting over something seems to be related to their finding of the pendant (based on the context and the villainess's comments about the pendant itself), so the pendant was probably found years ago.

So this theory seems remarkably unlikely.

If, on the other hand, you are not meaning to imply this, then I don't know what you're trying to say. :)

Hes either saying that the pendant Rhue threw was the one Cetsa has, or how, just like the pendant, the characters have no control over their lives either. Either way either his topic name or post don't make sense.

we can only presume that since there is no concrete evidance that it was the pendant but its a reasonable assumption and fits in with the story so probably yeah.

i think serena gave up on rhue and threw that pendant away a loooong time ago, i can't wait to see his face if its true.
well if lun makes a new one just for that face that is, otherwise ive already seen it

If Rhue ignore pendant in water, Cetsa dont throu it in river at ep5 and whole her fighting with Strata scene goes in other screen. But, basically, it doesnt change anything.

I dont see. I see irony in "Are you interested in selling that
Red Swiftfoot to me? Good... good. Because I'm not interested in
buying him."

i dun remember watching that part where rhue threw it into the water but obviously Cetsa and Kloe knew each other long ago when Kloe was pushed into the water the slight scene... they might be sisters or something. That pedant was prolly found when serena fell into the water when rhue tried to protect her...

:( they're not sister and cloe not serena...look, cetsa said, she have founded pendant, when she was a kid, and than we see scene, where cetsa and kloe fighting for it. so, kloe wanted it badly and start to fight. :) or, cloe IS serena, the pendant belongs to her (traz help her in river), cetsa finds it and kloe wanted it back...
