What if the the Phantom Slasher was good? (Plus more ideas)

Well, it's more of a question if there was two phantom slashers.
Many people think that Rhue's sword is an Illumati/Swadow Sword (please don't correct me on my spelling, I'm a n00b, it's okay) and this seems to be a reflection of his personality (he cares about people like Lexus deep down, but killed Lyrra, however he did feel much remourse).
Now when the PS pulled the Rhue's sword out of Slade (it was "growing" into him or something) who's to say that it wasn't going to kill him, and by pulling out that sword he did Slade a favour and returned it to Rhue.
At times the sword itself can be evil (eg. killing Lyrra) or good (eg. making Rhue hit the Shadow Sword), but for any reasons in my personal opinion I reckon that there are 2 phantom slashers.
Also, here's a ridiculous theory, but who's to say that the Paradans wouldn't be a prefect cover for a manipulitive, evil organisation, who would suspect THEM, also, myabe the shadow demon/man that Rhue fought in the pits was simply just a demon, not everything int he plot has to have significance ya know?
Well that's just one n00b's opinion.

There have been other shadowy individuals than the Phantom Slasher in the story, so we don't really know for sure that the individual who rescues Rhue from prison and the one who returns Rhue's sword (and consciousness) to his body were actually the Phantom Slasher.

i think (with those special hairy stuff) that was Midian. As for PS, paragans idea was bestest, especially, coz we know nothing about this organization (i know only that they suck!).

I will caution again agaisnt basing conclusions on evidence that isn't actually in the game. (Personally, I think that
is the Phantom Slasher, but we can't know for sure.)

Given as there are things in the code which most definitely are not part of the game and just there to entertain people using RPGMaker2000, I think it should all be taken with a grain of salt.

I completely agree, DSOK.
Chipsets are completely circumstantial. I mean, just look at many early Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior games. A lot of charsets were re-used.
Anyway, if the Phantom Slasher was good, the Way would be boring. You need a little (or a lot) of mysteryand/or a violent killer in a game. Although with all the twists Lun has thrown at us, the Phantom Slasher COULD turn out to be some self-titled "cleanser". (Like the guy way back in Lide)

I can only think of three shadow people that were defanantly different people, the PS, Scatha in Lide, and the shadow in the pits. Were there any more?

There's the figure Rhue plunges during the inside Slade/dream Estrana sequence. There are the two individuals who give Rhue his sword. (They can't both be the Phantom Slasher.) And don't Cetsa and Kygar show up as shadows in Lide as well?

I think there is in fact many phantoms, one for each shadow sword, and something like them for the Ilumiti swords.

you could be right there
Gauis would be right about rhue being a phantom slasher and theres an excuse for all the ones rhue couldn't of done and when rhue and the ps show up together
