Something I wanted to get off of my mind...

Now, before I say this, let me say that I like the person I'm about to comment on, alot, but...he's been doing some thing...that...well...blew the hell out of me...

RHUE IS AN A$$HAT!!!!1111oneoneone

I mean, WHAT THE HELL! He killed off about EVERY female I liked in the damned game! In the most F'ed up ways! FIRST, you have Lexus, who in some sort of miracle, got Rhue to calm the hell down. She was one of my favorite characters in the game (Aside from Dirk! DIRK OWNS YOU ALL FOR FREE!!). I mean, when I saw the chase scene when she was running down the hallway, I was literally screaming at the screen "NOOOO!!! NOT LEXUS! DEAR GAWD NOOOOO!!!" And we all know what happened next.

I could forgive that, being that it was a circumstance of wrong plae at the wrong time. But THEN! He had to go and kill Sorya! Why do I like such I minor character? I think it was the way she talked that got me hooked (Darling! ). Anyway, I was all WTF-ish over that, and as I kept playing when finally, he went and killed Lyrra. Now, I'm not Lyrra's biggest fan, but I don't hate her at all, and she even grew on me a little after all of the BS she went through, so when she died, in the most "OMG! WTF! OH NO HE DIDN'T" way, I wasn't exactly happy. When I finished the game with Gaius telling Rhue that he was the Phantom zSlasher, I was shocked at first, but after a few minutes, I wasn't really surprised. By the way he acted over the last few episodes, he was THE model idea of a crazed serial killer. Anyway, I just hope Cetsa still lives for a while, Slade DID have a sword stuck in his gut and lived, so I geuss Cetsa still has a chance (And if not, well, she'll kinda replace Lyrra for the most WTF-ish death in the series)

So there, that's all I have to say. I appoligize for my use of caps, which probably made me look like a dumba$$, but at least I got my point across. Thank you! Have a Nice Day!

... dude take a chill pill
i'm allowed to say that cuz my face is finally getting back in shape from that one pill that got stuck in my nostrill...^_^
I'm pretty sure that EVERYBODY got bezerk by the end of episode 5... and seeing as most of the stuck up biatches of this forum tend to HATE lexus for being annoying (I happen to like lexus... so i'm with you at that) i guess you should be prepared for some serious flaming on your behalf ^_^ Lun probably got the killing worked out and it'll all work out in the end...

I personally disliked Lexus because it was dead obvious that she was a phony, manipulating Rhue. Lexus, Sorya, and Cetsa were all stone killers, for whom its hard to possess sympathy. (I get the impression a lot of people here feel some empathy for Miss Violet, but she was the most evil of the bunch, and one apparent act of contrition and mercy hardly changes that.)

I was upset when Rhue killed Lyrra, and I worry a bit for Kloe now, who was my second favorite lady in the game. However, I think that, for purely dramatic reasons, the slaughter is likely over for a while.

Sockhyren, now you know why Lun is such a great man. He can make you feel the way you do against Rhue. The character isn't just a character anymore, now you have some emotion toward him and an attachment to the characters.

Long live Lun

Lyrra died for a reason that should be apparent come E6.

Also, I don't think Rhue killed Sorya... He almost seemed possessed for a moment (his sword?), but then changed his mind and the scene ended.

there's a switch called "fate of sorya" that goes on if rhue has low relationship with sorya. (that is always, when I play)

I didn't think Lexus was a phony at all... It was indeed dead obvious from the start that she was Red Zero, but next to that, I didn't feel as if her feelings for Rhue were fake. Sorya was evil, true. Cetsa may have done evil things, but she's not evil to the core, in my opinion.

But Lexus isn't evil at all... She'd never follow an order if she had any moral objections about it, I believe. You can't just believe everything Sorya said about her. I mean, she believes Rhue killed her entire group (and it may be the truth as far as we know), so she has every reason to make him feel as bad as possible. Rhue says it himself, that she's trying to push him into killing her.

True! Very True! *Hails to Lun*

Anyway, I didn't really think Lexus was really that evil either, and I though her feelings were genuine, even if it wasn't at first (of course, that would be a cliche, and we know how much Lun hates those (And I do too)). And with Sorya and Cetsa, I dunno why, maybe it's because I tend to like evil, sexeh bitch ladies :D .

All I know was that I recognized from the moment she started talking to Rhue that Lexus was trying to manipulate circumstances for her own gain. I saw her pretty clearly for what she was--a rich girl, playing at being a serious criminal. I didn't see what she wanted with Rhue at the outset, but I could tell her courting of his affections was initially a pure contrivance.

It was equally obvious that Lexus did like Rhue, but so what? That didn't prevent her from continuing to use him. I do, however, think Lexus was a lot less evil than Cetsa. Regarding her, one must remember the maxim that to do evil is to be evil. Everyone has both evil thoughts and some sense of remorse. It is how one chooses to act that determines whether one is evil. I don't think that a villainess being torn up about her own evil makes her any less nefarious. (This is, however, a philosophical point which has long been argued but will never be resolved.)

First of all, Lexus is evil. She is willing to send her Blue Scarves to their deaths just to learn about Rhue and to improve her relationship with him.

Second, what Sorya says pretty much has to be true. It explains everything about Lexus' bizarre behavior, something which had previously seemed inexplicable. Moreover, Sorya never says that Lexus didn't like Rhue, just that Red Zero was perfectly content to manipulate him, even so.

On a side note, is it just me, or does Alan seem to be the Kenny of the Way. I mean, almost every time you see him, he's bound to end up mortally wounded, yet he still come back in perfect shape...makes me wonder...

Exept that while Kenny was purly only there to die, Alan seems to be being set up for somthing big. His legs sticking out of the bushes has to meen somthing.

err... i'm on kyle with this... i didn't see it coming tough maybe i'm just being gullible... I think sorya even said she tought lexus to be in love with rhue but she wonders if that was only for personal gain... i think that it all depends on how you treat her (see my remark on the girls that might be serena... she said "she's exactly like me"). She might have had the idea of perfecting the cetsa copy but i think she lost herself in the moment becoming infatuated by rhue in the end, seeing as how he leapt after jopanga her remark (can't quote it but she was in awe) clearly state that she was growing fond of him. True, Lexus did send her morons to die, but i think she started to see the light after that, when rhue said he was truly worried about her. At that point she might have tought that he did care about HER and not about either cetsa or serena.

second of all... cetsa is not plain evil either!! why not? well it seems she's different from what everybody thinks of her i think this is dead obvious. first she didn't want to be in the predicament she's in, as she's constantly trying to remember how the whole mess started in the first place ... she hates lying to rhue and fears for her life. If she was a cold blooded murderer, she'd killed him in the pit of the blana sera. She actually does like rhue a lot for his foolish chasing after serena, hoping he'd chase her instead. she said so herself that she did kill but only as a last resort. she did gain fame by becoming infamous, but how much of that is not just hot air? at her core is a very confused girl... holding on to memories herself. she said she had troubles of letting go of the petty amulet. she's a thief alright and she commands the blue scarves but i've never actually seen them kill anybody exept for the attack on lide, who had it coming anyhow... i wish to have seen the forewoman of lide being hanged! evil biatch!! but beside that it's only cetsa and kygar pulling off a scam and running off with the money before anybody truly gets hurt because kygar mostly bests them in the plunge anyhow. Its wrong to steal but it's not actually evil.

I can't jugde about sorya in whole but she didn't want rhue to get killed by entrego. she liked him and didn't really run, she was at rhue's mercy ... if truly she would've been evil she'd sent all of her arristosi goons to fight rhue or take up the blade to fight him herself if she's any where near being as powerful or evil as dsok discribes her...

oh and on a side not I HATED LYRRA FOR BEING AS ANNOYING AS A GIRL I KNOW IN REAL LIFE WHO ACTUALLY DOES SPEAK LIKE THE GAME CHARACTER... as a matter of fact she even looks a bit like her drawn counterpart... but i must admit i was shocked about her early demise... i didn't like her but i didn't want her to die either. And btw... gauis might not have sensed the death of lyrra, but merely the passing on from the ghost horror to yet another person...

My point about Lexus sending her agents to their deaths was just to make the point that she was definitely evil. It does seem like she had some significant affection for Rhue, but so what? She never did anything to protect him from the harmful affects of her own machinations. (Indeed, had she worked to shield him from being manipulated by the Aristotzi, her own life might have been saved!)

Regarding Cetsa, I will reiterate. The fact that a person feels angst about being evil does nothing to mitigate the base fact that they are evil. In fact, many philosophers have argued the opposite--that if a person understands that what they're doing is wrong and grapples with that issue, yet nonetheless chooses to continue onward with their perfidy, they are in fact all the more evil, because they have made a conscious decision to go against morality. Cetsa may not enjoy killing very much, but she will if it suits her purposes. That is still quintessentially evil.

I don't think I ever wrote Sorya was powerful. I certainly never thought that, and I am not in the habit of typing things that I don't mean. Your are evidently failing to comprehend my direct statements.

powerful as in stone cold killer... the strength to kill somebody, as well as the inner strengt to commit such an act. i got your point pretty well, but i was merely expressing my toughts that i didn't think ppl were that bad... but you do make a lot of sense and i won't deny that... but lexus in a way tried to protect rhue by interfering in the jopanga mission didn't she?
Maybe she wasn't notified ... yeah defending her to the death am i not ?
do not forget that she was betrayed by entrego which she stated herself. so she would've been killed anyhow ;)
in my point of view, the elder sister of lexus (her name escapes me for now) who tried to get slade to sleep with her was more evil then cetsa... dunno why... the inner look on her feelings made me believe that she was forced upon a fate that she didn't wanted in the first place.
Same goes for rhue. he's not actually evil, he does the things he does to get him to where he needs to go, even if that makes him kill ppl... in a way i somehow can relate to his inner feelings... (im not going to kill my neighbour if he bugs me but you know what i mean...)

I don't think that was Lexus' sister. Where did you get that idea?

Rhue is one of the few people in the game that might have a legitimate claim to being enchanted into doing things other than he might wish. (Traziun might have recently been enchanted as well, but we haven't seen him since the events in question, so we don't know.) It remains to be seen, however, how much magic can influence one in Lun's cosmology; we don't know to what extent an enchantment can make a person turn against his basic character. (Of course, as Rhue has no character inherent to his body any more, the question is really quite complicated.)
