The Official "The Way" fan novalization topic
And unlike 99.9% of the time people make topics like this, it really is official. Because I made it. And stuff.
This topic is to report on progress with the novelization, so I can say whatever without writing enough to justify an update. Just so I can get them out of the actual thing, I'll put the old ones here, too, but I'll do it in another post so it doesn't look all messy at the top.
Anyone who cares about this novelization will be happy to know I've at least written up to Traziun, who, as we all know, kicks ass. I thought writing events in town areas was a pain, it'll be even harder in a dungeon place. Games do not convert well into stories. >_< Fortunately, The Way is a fucking awesome story that must be told.
I swear, each chapter I write is just getting shorter and shorter. I like writing long chapters that group the story, but like this they're gonna vary in length as much as ones Douglas Adams writes (you know exactly what I mean if you read that chapter that was like 1 or 2 sentences long). I like the dramatic-ish points they currently end at, though, and I can't bear to change that. >_< Hmm, anybody have ideas on how to drag on a trip through a cave? I could always check how Tolkien did it.
The point is, I promised myself I'd have a chapter with a nice lame unoriginal name which covered the entirety of the cave, but 3 isn't gonna go longer than four pages.
