I liked the Episode 4. It had a huge city and I found a great minigame. The story was also good.
As far as I remember I liked Episode 2, but I hated Episode 5. It had too many drama, too many death. It a different atmosphere than other episodes.

I like Episode One the most because it has a great atmosphere and I just happen to like intros. Episode Two would probably be second for me.

I voted 5, although 2 and 4 are probably just as good.

I liked the drama in episode 5. Some people really, really, really needed to die. Other characters that shouldn't have died, needed to die to advance the story correctly (Sacrifa's Wife)

Episode One isn't my favorite, but I agree on both counts. I like the very first scene in the game, where Rhue is standing on top of the cliff and asks, "Where are you?" A nice, simple line that sums things up well. As for the rest of Ep. 1... losing all the plunges had me a bit worried... I like the way things work out now, but the first time I had to wonder if I was doing something wrong. <_< It had Rhue, Traziun, and Gaius together. I thought they were pretty cool together, and I associated them as a trio early on... of course, Gaius and Traziun haven't spoken to each other since Episode 2, but hopefully the start of Episode 6 will change that if "The End of the Way?" is any indication. Also, Episode 1 didn't get me all that attached to Traziun. It's Episode 2 that did that. One of the best things about the second episode was that Rhue and Traziun were together for the vast majority of it... he seemed more like a big brother to Rhue than he usually does. I liked how Traz was polite to all of his opponents even though he could obviously kick everyone's ass, and his slight bit of arrogance was cool. "Cool Wind won't help much against me." (Rhue actually beats him in the coolness department with the "The only thing you'll be kissing is the dirt" line.) It's kind of funny now, thinking that that random guy and Kygar might beat Traz. It's definitely easier to put things in perspective now. Of course, Rhue's actually my favorite character, but... uh... I'll stop before this post becomes any less coherent.

I say Episode 4 was the best. Lots of conspiracy spiraling around. More character involvement. New characters introduced. Lots of Plunges. Lots of less travelling around The Way(It was about time they stopped walking to take a breather lol). Nice ending as well.

I voted episode 5. It had many great moments (let's not forget Traziun's moment in the spotlight), much cooler dungeons (read: not cave after cave of blood lyn) and a harder difficulty overall (which was about time).
It also introduced the 4 remaining Sword Aura's, which were a nice addition. And don't get me started about the ending. I don't think any episode had me waiting to see the sequel before episode 5.

I remember thinking Kygar would beat Traz in ep2....
Anyway, the order is 5-4-2-1-3.
The most awesome cliffhanger was the 4 one, though.

I thought the dungoens in Episode 5 were among the weakest in the game. They just didn't seem very sensible. Some may find "cave after cave of blood lyn" boring, but it is exactly the sort of thing one would really expect to see during the circumstance of invading a strongpoint. I love encounter areas like that, which seem truly logical; conventional dungeons in electronic RPGs tend to be filled either with totally random puzzles and encounters and/or ridiculously small for their alleged function.

You didn't like destroyed Estrana or the forest with the flower puzzle or the dungeon in the snowy place (the one with the door switches)? I tought they were some of the best stuff in the game, gameplay wise. And how can you say that you'd expect CAVES filled with blood lyn under a city? The mine where you meet Dirk, yes, but the caves were just fillers as well you know.
