It's almost 2005 and there's still no word on a possible date for the beta testing of Episode 6 to start. It seems more and more unlikely for Episode 6 to be released before the end of this year.

I was just wondering what the rest of you think or maybe know from talking to Lun or fwacho.

Judging from how Episode 5 went, we'd probably get a notice that Beta Testing was going to begin a month or two beforehand. I'm sure Lun would make any announcements about a planned release on the mainpage, unless he's saying it in secret to avoid us from castrating him if he screws up.

Who would do that to Lun! LUN!!!

Well, probably not if he screws up. We'll just kick him where it hurts. But if Lun suddenly becomes unable to finish the Way, it'll definitely do it. Probably with a spoon.

Like I said in another thread, it will probably be sometime in Q1 2005.

As much as I hate to say it, I unfortunately don't think it will...

I'm.... hoping teh Beta will be ready by late december early Jan Lun's puttign a lot of effort into it lately.... (after all there are tons of variables that need to be accounted for, and about a thousand loose strings to be followed... But he has a pretty good jump on it so "sooner rather than later" is likely the best guess, at least for the Beta... Lun's been pretty determined to finish it so you can put your rusty spoons away. (I can promise you that only death (maybe) or near death (not too likely) would keep Lun from finishing the series)

I hope beta testing isn't on while I'm in America... It probably will be.
