I asked Lun a while ago when I didn't know about this site yet and I had just finished playing episode 1. He said he didn't want to disclose the exact number to the public yet, probably because then people would know the end is near and not too many theories will be false anymore. He does know how many there will be himself.

Dude... Episode 5 was the last one... Didn't you know?
Aw, I'm just kidding you. OR AM I?
The best guesses put the last episode at eight. I hope I won't have children who are playing it with me by that time. HINT, HINT, HINT.

Well, I'm going to go with my theory on the Blade Art spread, so if we assume that Rhue gets the next three step 3 ones in Ep6, then the 4s in Ep7, and finally the 5s in Ep8, then I'd say 8 episodes. I'd assume this also because I doubt Episode 6 will be the final one. I'm willing to bet a whole truckload of new mysteries are headed our way. Plus, if you've noticed the way the titles become a kind of poem, poems past five lines tend to end in multiples of two.

I'd say eight but I'm not sure, they could be 6, 10, 234....

Well, when you read the titles together:

The Land Beneath The Sky,
The Echos of past Decry.
A lost loves carries on,
Words to a lonely song.
Everyone must bleed.

Now, I'm no poet, but if there were eight episodes, that would make a complete poem.

Could the next episode be "Let's wallow in pig feed"?

Seriously though, I'm betting on around 9 episodes, basing it off blade arts much like other peopl. I doubt that you will only have one episode toplay around with the early step 5 blade arts, although I could be wrong. It's just that it's episode 5 now, and we've only just started on step 3, so it would seem kinda rushed to get a whole step in one episode.

hmm... what rhymes with bleed? A gallant steed? a seed? a reed? a decree?

Well it doesn't necessarily have to have one syllabel. Lun rhymed sky with decry, so you have to consider that as well.

How about "While brave men shall lead."

I agree that it'd be around 10 episodes, since there will be episodes like 5 where you'd get little in terms of Blade arts. I mean, we're on episode 5, and only at step 3. So it should end about twice as long (since we do need some time to play around with it) which is 10 episodes. Just my theory.

We already did this joke. I said a while back it would be "Rhue gets all the sex he needs".

Nah, a poem can usually have a minimum of 3 lines, maybe even 2 I think. Most traditional ones are multiples of 2, however. Five is another number. But after five they usually only go up to 10 by twos.

If he's written a sonnet it will be 14...
