Read part one; you'll be blown away. (yes, this does have to do with "the way" series.)

This document attempts to draw the texts of several popular English translations of Lao Tse into a consistent and accessible context.

WHOA! I'm only at the first part and I already see the connection!
Now there's a passage that may have to do with Rhue's struggle.
So far, there seems to be a lot of Paradan ideas.

Maybe Lun studies Taoism?

I don't think there's anything here besides a name. It's relatively common knowledge that the Taoism talks a lot about a characterization of life and the world that is usually translated as "The Way." I had always assumed that this was the basis for Lun's choice of name. However, that's really where the similarlity ends. There are no specifics of The Way in the Lao Tsu's writing, so essentially any more detailed vision would be consistent with this aspect of the Tao Te Ching.

Uhh...

As the creator of "The Way" I can tell you that the only "Way" that "The Way" shares any characteristics of is Christianity. Some of you semi-literates might know that an early moniker for Christianity was "The Way." Taoism is eastern crap. Always will be.

I will also note that Taoism is the basis for magic in most RPG's I've played... Fire, earth, Wind, water, thunder, mountain, and i can't remember the last two but I studied it in college. The final fantasy series borrowed heavily from it.

If that's true, expect Tetzel or Eyashu to pop out and say something along the lines of "I am The Way, the truth and the life"
