The answers to some questions

I've noticed some threads with people saying serena is not real.

The answer to this questions is WRONG.

In episode 5 when Rhue's mind is inside Slade's body in one of the cutscenes you see a little shadow girl and if you've been paying attention you would know the bigger shadow girl is Chasta(Scatha's former name).
And else we're in Episode five when Scatha and Cetsa are alone, Scatha say's Cetsa couldn't be Serena because she knew serena personally(Scatha is Serena's older sister). I didn't see any post that answer this question so I decided to write this. If someone else Already wrote something like this do not yell at me.(I'm to lazy and tired to do search on this)

Do you have anything to back up this theory? You sound awfully sure.

If your talking about Scatha being Serena's older sister then yes.In episode 5 when Rhue is in Slade's mind, one of the cutscenes shows the shadow of Slade's mother saying"the little one is dead" and the litte shadow girl is gone.Plus remember Scatha said she knew serena, and we all know Scatha is Chasta(the older shadow girl in the cutscenes of slades mind)(Why do you think Slade is hostile towards Scatha and why would Scatha tell Slade after he says"leave or I'll kill you" "It wouldn't be the firssst time")

I'm afraid that's about as weak as evidence gets. There is the obvious fact that Scatha says she knew Serena and the fact that Scatha's mother says that sister is dead. Both these things have been pointed out before, and they're a long, long way from the difinitive proof that you seem to claim.

Yeah. That evidence could be used to support any number of other theories on who the little girl is. One could make claims that the little girl is virtually any female character on the Way, with the exception of Scatha. Maybe she was Cetsa, who got sick of her mother's holier-than-thou attitude and ran off, allowing those bad experiences to lead her to a life as far away from anything like the order her mother imposed (becoming a bandit), forgetting what her elder siblings looked like while they, as she aged, lost the ability to recognize her. Perhaps Kloe was the girl; she found Serena's pendant, fought over it with her little friend, Cetsa, then was pushed into the river where she was saved by Traziun and taken back to Delhara. In some such situation, it could have been Lyrra, as well, who was somehow separated from her family, then adopted by Jed (I don't think there's any evidence that Jed is her biological father). All pretty unlikely and, to an extent, contrived, yes, but there's really nothing to go against them, as we have very little info on the little girl. Who knows? Maybe she has no bearing on the plot at all and Lun merely threw her in as a red herring.

Yeah, what the hell? That's not evidence at all.

This is something that a number of people bandy about, yet there is absolutely no reason to believe it. There is no reason to believe that Jed is not Lyrra's biological father, and, in fact, there is excellent reason to believe he is. Most obviously, before Jed dies, he talks of all the tragedies that have befallen Lyrra, the people she has lost. He mentions her mother, her brother Jeruh (though not by name), and now himself. If she'd lost another father, he would undoubtedly have mentioned that too.

True. It's conceivable, however, that he considered her so much a part of his family that, in the panic of knowing inevitable death, he forgot that she had another family before his. That sounds very unlikely and contrived, but that's alright because it continues to prove my point: based on the evidence Evan100 used, any number of plausible (due to lack of negating evidence) or implausible (due to extreme contrivance, amongst other things; like, y'know, facts) can be formed. I'm not going to deny that all of the theories I put forth in my earlier post are probably wrong (particularly the one about Lyrra). I was only using them as examples that were not to be taken seriously. I mean, if someone wants to run with them, be my guest. I just doubt they'll get too far.
