SHELL.DLL

i downloaded Crestfallen Inception act I and II, and right as I tried to unzip them, my computer said that it couldn't find something called "SHELL.DLL". i don't know if that is something that my computer is missing, or if somethings wrong with the game files. I downloaded act I twice, but neither of them worked.... help Lun!!! Ahhh!

Are you using Windows 2000/XP? I think the Crestfallen games, which were made with RPGMaker95, only run under Windows 9x/Me.

Well, that sucks. i use microsoft 2000..lun, there anything we can do?

I've heard there are ways of tricking PC's with Windows XP into allowing such games to run. People who use emulators are well read up on this kind of thing, but I am not. Wish I knew what to do, but I don't.

Whenever you get errors that involve a missing file, search for it on the internet, you can usually find a download for it if it's a common file.
