Yeah... The announced Starcraft: Ghost a hella long time ago... I'm sure they'll finish it. But when they do, it had better be the best game ever fucking made, for making us wait this long.

'The Red Star' Video game. My aunt made the comic and the creator is her friend, so she knows why someone would be crazy enough to have Acclaim publish their game: freedom to do whatever the hell you wanted....sadly, acclaim went bankrupt back in aug, months before release

*sniff* goodbye fantasy neo-communist russia scenario

I do. I first played Duke Nukem 3D with 3D goggles that were so popular back in the days. You know, those giant contraptions you put on your head, heavy as hell.

I had only played Wolfenstein and Spear of Destiny by that time and Duke 3D was REALLY pretty by the standards back then. Plus, it had good music, nice level design (if you look at Wolfenstein for comparison) and kick ass graphics! Plus, a VOICE in an action game! Yeah I know, games like Day of the Tentacle were fully voiced by that time but adventures were the sole exception to this.

No really, if you were into gaming at that point in time, how could you NOT have loved Duke Nukem 3D?

Now, on topic. I have heard Blizzard has transferred development of Ghost to another developer, since Nihilistic obviously didn't do a good job with it and we all know Blizzard's reputation for quality games.

I wouldn't get my hopes up about sequels to Beyond Good and Evil though. I regret that a lot since the original was SO good (especially the music)! Ubisoft seems more interested in milking Prince of Persia for all it's worth, which seems to be less and less every installment. I loved the first, but the second game... No comment.

Duke Nukem Forever will come out about 25-50 years after the world ends.

It seems like 3dRealms has a thing for "lost" games, I mean, they're finally releasing Prey for godsakes!

They know. They left the end of the last one as a cliffhanger for a reason.

We'll get one eventually... I hope.

I doubt it. They're too enthralled with the Warcraft franchise.
They're even neglecting Diablo.

You don't understand how marketability works, do you.

If you leave a seires with a cliffhanger, there must be a followup, no matter how shitty it is (Though that would be near impossible with the Starcraft franchise).
