Its isometric though not completely 3d.

Exile was the first RPG I ever played back around 1998 ( I was 5 or 6 lol). It was addicting and still is today. Im replaying it even though it has 2d graphics.
The creator Jeff Vogel redid the graphics, changed the engine, updated it, and changed the name to "Avernum".
Its isometric though not completely 3d. Great story though and addictive gameplay.
