but yeah, "sounds of nature" type things can be good for meditatoin, it's best off during sleep or deep relaxation.

Or just go to a forest, You would be surprised how much you will learn of yourself if you will just sit there and listen for six or so hours, Pondering about life.

I do that but I always end up jacking off at the end and forgetting everything I learned. =/

Maroon 5 - She will be loved (actually many maroon 5 songs are rather relaxing.)

Yes Maroon 5 is awesome. and relaxing as well.
1 song for which I have been debating its relaxingness is Someday by ThirstyMerc (I think). It's a good song but I don;t know if I'd call it relaxing or not.

It's not that easy, most people don't live adjacent to a vivid nature. Most people live in a suburb close to a forest only kept standing for harvesting and possibly hunting purposes. THe other most of the eople live in cities.

I live near a "vivid" forest. It's so close I can see the needles of the trees from here. It's a cold, dark, scary place.

Sounds to me like you've found the meaning of life. Just not with a woman, but you're on the right track.

Don't forget; they call her "mother nature" and a mother is just another name for a women...maby we should now call it "hot lady to be alone with nature"
Blood is driping from the veins
Of all the enemies that I have slain
As I see their eyes turn to black
The remourse for killing is all I lack

Alright, thanks for the recommendations guys, I'll look into some of them.
Jera, it's not my fault. I know one song of theirs, I didn't know who it was by or what it was even called until my sister asked me and I was curious, and it was given to me by my self-declared hippy ex-girlfriend who I haven't talked to in 9 months now.

And also on a related note, could someone get me a link to the a capella (all voices) version of the mario theme from Super Mario Sunshine? You know, the one when you're doing the dark mario levels and you don't have your jetpack, causing you to die repeatedly? A link would be preferred, but if that's not possible I'd ask if someone could send it to me.

You want music from Mario or Zelda and you didn't immediately rush on to MSN and ask me? Tsk, tsk. I'm disappointed.

(Not only do I have that song, but I have the version sung by men.)

Nice music, though a litle gospell inspierd.

Yeah, I heard of that band, a classmate of mine owns a CD of them. It's cool how they seem to imitate a typical sect!

If you listen to Enya-like music, there is a cool musician & vocalist, Loreena McKennitt, who mixes Arabian, Asian and Irish music. Her songs often have that LotR-like, epic sound!

Check out a band called Bright Eyes, Glenn. All of the songs really fit the bill you're looking for, but I'll list a few of my favorites.

Sunrise, Sunset
Lover I don't Have to Love
Drunk Kid, Catholic
Bowl of Oranges
Shoelaces
One Foot In Front of the Other
Happy Birthday to Me(Feb. 15)

You might also want to check out these bands:

Pinback
Jem
Surreal ( http://www.purevolume.com/surrealflusaga )
Off The Bridge ( http://www.purevolume.com/offthebridgect )

Hope you enjoy them.
I'll say I found her floating face down and I won't let them hurt you, I swear, from the crystal to the crucifix, I will always be with you. So if I go to hell for this I guess I'll meet you there.

Sorry Inderos, but it has to be said.

Bright eyes probably has the WORST vocalist I've EVER HEARD.
Wow, talk about shitty singing. And I'm a choir guy. I know these things. Thanks for the recommendation though, I'll probably look at the other groups later.
