the lexus ending is the best.

the identity known as rhue relenquishes his control of the body to what could possibly be it's original aura, possibly the phantom slasher.

For me, living forever in a illusion world isn't a very good ending... :?

I still like that Heaven-Earth-Hell analogy someone thought of with the endings a long time ago. At first glance it's stupid, because the Lexus ending isn't like heaven. But then, think again... Maybe it is? No, it isn't real, no, it's not how things are meant to be... But isn't that what heaven is? Just being blissful and forgetting about everything else? And ultimately the one true path ends up being the realistic one, the Earth ending, the one where Rhue has to live with what he's learnt about himself, move on, and start a new life. That's really what the end should be.

no the part where rhue stays in his fantasy is not my favorite part of it...
it's rhue's true power being shown, when he flys away... he probably goes on a killing spree...

Once you do, go to that one part underneath the Arm of Estrna where there are four rooms and a metal door. Go to the metal door, beat the two bosses, and you get an....interesting...ending. The first boss (Gaghn) isn't that bad, but the second one (Gharon) friggin' sucks. End of the Way kills pretty much all of your characters. (Unless you've been spending some serious time leveling them up. I, personally, have never gotten anyone to survive End of the Way. I just got extremely lucky and criticaled several times with Rhue and Slade, and somehow, by some freak accident, inflicted several stat ailments to it. THANK YOU, SACRIFA!) As for End of the Way, it uses that every 14 turns. As the description says 'Nothing can survive'. I believe it. FEAR THAT ATTACK. FEAR IT VERY MUCH!

Get the house and everything in it? What are you referring too?

There's a house in the city you can get once you have Lexus, there's a person standing in front of it who will give it to you. After that, you need to furnish it. And where do you know of that you can get home furnishings?

So if Lun uses THIS ending as the base for the next game, then "Rhue" will be the villian? That'd be fun.

On a side not, Impossible I agree whole heartedly. The ONLY thing that kept me going through this game (Which I have dubbed "The Way: Notch-Whore Version" ) was the plot that I was waiting to come to a massive conclusion. And then even it fell short. They killed my favorite Male character (Second favorite, sorry. Dirk is still my favorite) maybe not pointlessly, but so quickly and randomly that it's just criminal. And they never really resolved anything.

"You're not Rhue ok? Now go get busy with that Blood Lyn chick."
"k."

In truth, my favorite episodes were 3 or 4, and then 2 in third place. 5 was a major chore to play through, and six was nowhere near as good, gameplay balance or plot wise, as it should have been.

I do agree that many, MANY things could use a lot more explaination/development. I mean, suddenly, the latter half of Episode 5 seems so pointless. The universe itself could use a bit more expansion. There are soooo many things that can be interpreted differently, just look at all the theories flying in here. However, if everything was explained, what fun would it be then?

I just realized something...Scatha and Slade are from the Landorian Strech. (Forgive my spelling, I just got up.) Think about it, Scatha tells Cesta.

"You are not her, though you do have her pendant."

When we talk to Jerhue(sp?) he shows us that Serena died, and her pendant fell into the river, during the Landorian Massacre. That means that to know the pendant was Serena's, Scatha would have had to lived their originally with her family.

All I have to do is place Cesta and/or Kloe there are we have most of the normal wanderers living on the Landorian Strech. How coincidental eh?

Normal Ending

I like it, because it explains more than the others. But, like all of them, it still leaves a lot unsaid, and really is the one that opens the most for a sequel. Not much more to about it, other than I didn't like Traziun dying. Truly he was a great character. He was the standard tough cool one. But instead of being an angsty badass, he was a loyal friend.

Reaches Ending

This was both good and bad. It was beautiful and very much like Evangelion. In fact, that was the first thing I thought of. 10 minutes later, I read an IRC message by LunC saying he was inspired very much by Evangelion. But like evangelion, it's just a little to confusing. I mean, we see 4 different, sorta unexplained characters talking of their inner feelings. But, in the end, it's still just Rhue, because we're still in his mind.

Lexus Ending

My favorite. Leaves maybe to much unexplained, but I would assume a sequel to use someone like Traziun, since Rhue has become Pharaphalyn anyway (I assume he retains all of his dream abilities). I also assume, that what happens in the end, is that Rhue uses his Pharaphalyn powers, and escapes, and then has the ability to enter the shadow sword at will, to live with Lexus (oh, and I asked "how do you know when you love someone. Beautiful). I really liked Rhue ending with Lexus. She always seemed right for him. Especially because this whole Serena thing always seemed insane. Also, Traziun doesn't die, per-say!
-----------------

Comments about the ep. 6 overall.

Really great. It was very open ended, and kinda showed how much we could actually have gotten out of Link's Awakening. Those two games are very similar. It featured a lot of beautiful scenes, but wasn't as fast-paced as Ep.5.

Those two guys in the backroom of the right tower in the concert hall. They were the two shadow figures that Jeruh got the sword from, right? I mean, Jeruh, does mention one of them to have this weird facial expression, and when you look out the window, you see a kid (Jeruh) and the non-sleeping guy cries, because the Shadow Sword is carried on.

Hm I still haven't seen the Lexus ending yet, and the reaches ending doesn't interest me. And also I wish people wouldn't say that Rhue and Kloe got 'hitched' because it seems to me that they could've just been traveling together since you know, no ones there anymore and the lyn are finished and theres not definite proof that they get togehter. (But IMO I think they'd end up together because I approve lol) The normal ending was good, I really liked his last line which as you know is his first. It gives it a morbid and sad feel. Though I didn't like it when Cetsa diedddd! :( I feel like i'm the only one who likes her. But overall I think the ending was good, traziun dying made me sad >_<, It was complete to me but I think people were probably expecting something more out of Rhue. Meaning probably that he accepts the fact that he lost his identity and is ready and happier now that he can find and greater new purpose. I think that's what was missing too so some people probably felt it incomplete. Of course theres things left unquestioned but I guess thats why we are discussing it right? :P

And on the Lexus ending...Like I said I still haven't seen it but I'm sure I already prefer the normal over this one. I don't think it would be right for Rhue to live with Lexus in a place like that, it would mean that he gave up his journey and failed because he now lives in a place full of living memories. Like he couldn't move on and his story would be kind of like Lyrra's. She didn't try to accept her truth and just made up stories and attempted to be a princess in the dream Estrana, and by Rhue living with Lexus I think he hasn't learned anything from the adventure he had so he failed himself on his hero's journey. But i'm sure i'll like it because it's a bittersweet escape and even though it's a wrong reality he's happy. I don't approve of it but yeah :P those are my two cents

I think you really have to see the Lexus ending before commenting much on it. My perception of it was really skewed from just reading about it compared to when I actually saw it.

I don't really feel like Rhue "gives up", persay. When he busts on Gaius and flies away, it really feels like he's taking a stand for once, and made a clear and concrete decision of what he wants. He's given up on Serena and moved on, and loves Lexus... the bittersweet part is that she's already dead, but he can still be with her in the other world. He chooses to forsake everything else and pursue what he wants, more than anything else.

"You are... my purest dream."

...I also like the Lexus ending best because I don't think Cetsa dies in it (only time in the credits that her body has cryptically somehow moved). And I liked Cetsa too.

"Let him go." "No." "I'm not giving you a choice."

Traziun is too cool. I hope the Lexus ending becomes cannon, because a world with no Traziun makes me sad.

Oh boy, you REALLY have to see it. Just once at least. Yes, the second boss is damn hard, but my, it is a great ending. Very different from the other two. Try to get it after you get the Lexus ending, since it doesn't take too much to get the Reaches ending anyways.

Oh, and remember to furnish your house for the Lexus ending. Or you'll miss out on the bonus scene at the end.

Hm really...eh maybe I still don't know about that, but i'm glad it shows that Cetsa MAY not have died in it :D I understand what you mean about him having a firm descision on what he wants but I still think it's kind of scary and wrong but oh well.
