And when a suicide bomber blows himself up, it's because of religion. What would be the point otherwise. Make a political statement? You'd be dead....what's the point. They seriously believe that by dying doing that they will go to an eternal paradise.

Religion is just a thing used by so-called goverments to manipulate people, today it doesn't cause any war, and even in the past a LOT of "religion wars" had really little religion in them.

The crusades were more political than religous.

The leaders were definitely political. The soldiers who joined up with the crusader armies were doing it about religion. I know bin Laden doesn't give a shit about Islam, but the lower end do.

Not all of the suicide bombers truly believe in what they are doing......some of them are doing it out of fear......that if they don't do it the leader telling them to will not only kill them(cause thats a stupid incentive) but their families as well. It is mostly political.....though there are some that are doing what they do because of a deeply religious and spiritual reason, but for the most part they are just scared.

Doubt it. I really doubt that. They joined these terrorist groups and went to the terrorist training camps. Their families are even quoted to say they are proud that their son/daughter/husband/wife/mother/father did that and that they will go to paradise. Religion has a huge play in world events. You people don't like to give it credit in that. Go up to someone who is really religious and tell them that their religion has faults in it. See what happens. It will prove my point.

I believe violence will always be here. Unless we learn and help to stop it now,It will last throughout the future, till everyone learns to not fight over land and for honor, many more people will die for a meanless death. They say: "The Fallujah Brigade has killed the director of this team and kidnapped one of its engineers, Paul Johnson, and if the tyrannical Saudi government wants their American master to be released, then they have to release our holy warriors that are held in Ha'ir, Ruweis and Alisha prisons within 72 hours of this statement's date or else we will sacrifice his blood to God in revenge for our Muslim brothers who have been liberally killed everywhere."


The Web site statement addressed Muslims all over the world, saying: "We have made a promise to ourselves to defend you. We will not let you down, and you should know that the treacherous tyrants who have helped the Americans against you, and shared your blood with them, do not represent the Muslims of Saudi Arabia. They are our enemies as much as they are your enemies. They are the enemies of God and his prophet."

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia - An al-Qaida group said Friday it killed American hostage Paul M. Johnson Jr., posting three photos on the Internet showing his body and severed head.

"In answer to what we promised ... to kill the hostage Paul Marshall (Johnson) after the period is over ... the infidel got his fair treatment," the al-Qaida statement said. "Let him taste something of what Muslims have long tasted from Apache helicopter fire and missiles," the statement said
