I think your talking about Mysterio, or something like that. Personally I never liked him, and were the movies are about to go he wouldb't be able to follow the previous villian, and hes to big to be a set up villian.

Yeah, I think they'll just stop at three. After Venom. They might throw Carnage into the same film, to round off the loose end.

There will be atleast four movies unless they decide to not use Venom after using this movie to build up to him. They wont be able to fit Venom in this one because they need to show Spiderman using the symbiot costume first and they need to wrap up the Hobgoblin. So unless they end without using Venom this won't be the last.

5 movies is nothing. Spiderman has been a huge success and if people keep going to see them, they'll keep making them. The thing that makes Spiderman an easy movie to create lots and lots of sequels to is that the story has already been made in comics and cartoons. All you have to do is bend the plot slightly and you have yourself a feature length movie.

and sawtching it with a real marvel geek who points out all the falws while I'm trying to enjoy the special effects.

Five movies is not nothing, people always hate sequels. Batman and Superman stopped making movies for a while, and the newer movies are complete revamps anyway so they barely even relate them to the old ones.

x-men were also supposed to stop after part 3 but as far as I learned there's at least a wolverine, magneto and storm spin-off planned (three different movies yup) and a whole new trilogy starring newer and younger x-men so in fact x-men 4 to 6....
I do hope it'll be concerning the apocalypse story...

Well in the last one the introduced Angel, who played a rather minor role, and if I'm pretty sure Angel becomes one of Apocalypse's horsemen. Also Gambit (my favorite x-men) was a horsemen but I dont know the other two.
