I'm not sure that there are actually shadow swords and illuminati
If what traz says is true then it could just be one type of sword that corrupts most who use it. typical power currupts cliche...mind you im not sure if lun would go for that so it probably isnt

dammit i need some sleep

Ok, a serious theory. I think that the shadow swords aren't evil themselves, but influences the wielder in a way that can be seen as evil, like making him/her act without thinking for example.

Yeah, that pretty much sums up the shadow swords are not evil theory.

erm ahem ahem, well i insists that the swords are capable of controlling its users. Look what happened when Traz tried to kill his father, Kalmar? Look back when the sword flew around itself and the part where he said "it feels like smthin' is eatin' into my mind...!"
THINKIN' back again, Rhue dreams of stuffs when he kill someone, this is similar when traz killed kalm, it makes me think that when sm1 uses a shadow sword or smthin to kill another, u will get memory of that person or smthin', wif these memories mixin' up... u get an evil arse runnin' around killin' people.
I cant be certain abt the facts. Things are always left mystery, otherwise ppl wont be playing rite? ^.^

Oh i forgot a part,
Rhue might be taking over control of midians body instead. theres a big possibility of this. Note that the headhunter called him Midian, and he hates to look at mirrors, y?
He might be looking at the reflection of his murderer, WHO DOESNT HATE SOMEONE WHO KILLS YOU? Ahem, juz an assumption, and rhues memories overtaken midians body and mind i guess? Thats y he hates lookin' in the mirror = looking at someone who killed him (its possible rhue is dead in episode 1 or something)
http://www.crestfallen.us/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1036

Once again its juz an assumption, so dun come barkin' at me ThX.

Well, for what we know Rhue's personality could be a patchwork of various auras. He could have taken Jeruh's name, changed a few letters and go along with it. The problem is who was his original aura, but there are a lot of teories and noone of them has proof.

Here's my crap theory which only covers a small ammount :P

Gauis is a cool guy.
But he's wrong. We all know that there is something weird about Rhue's sword, but can it be a shadow sword?
Rhue's sword takes over him and causes him to attack any shadow swords. There is always a power struggle between evil, but maybe his sword is good..
The only person Rhue hasn't been able to hit has been the executioner. [probably Gauis] Gauis also gets flashbacks from other people's memeory - remember Kloe? Maybe wielders of Illuminati, as well as shadow swords can do this.. but then again so can the Bala Sera.

The fact that Rhue cannot hit Gauis is important to me, because Gauis does seem that he is on the "GOOD" side - he hates killing. So maybe these two both weild Illuminati? The swords don't have to stop you from doing evil things, but sometimes they can get a little weird..
Rhue's sword seems to help him challenge Kalmar, and Kalmar recognises the sword...

Oh, and like everyone knows already Jeruh is proabably Rhue. Nobody who survived the massacre remembers Rhue, but what has Madain got to do with this?

Yeah, Imanewbie.

Rhue's sword takes over him and causes him to attack any shadow swords.

and this part is intersting! we all remember how Rhue slash Shadow sword back in Lide, right? so thats why he killed Lyrra!! :o he just atacked shadow sword she was carring! :? what do you think?...
in order to assess the reality of life, it is necessary at least once to die

Midian's aura INSIDE Rhue's sword controls him.

Good point, maybe shadow swords hate each other only when they're "active"...
But I still think the Illuminati doesn't exist and that the Shadow swords aren't evil by themselves.

There is the many-times-offered theory that Traziun is the figure Rhue plunges in the pits, after whom his sword goes nuts if you lose. But it's definitely true that Rhue's sword doesn't always force him to attack the wielder of a shadow sword. But if that only happens if the sword is "active" somehow, why did he go after the sword in Lide? Did it become active merely because so many people were coming for it, covetously?

I still don't really believe that Rhue fought Traziun in the Pits. I mean, there's no definite evidence for or against it, but that incident just felt really wierd and unlike any other Shadow Sword (if indeed that's what it was) to me... Although... I posted a theory a while ago that suggested that the Shadow Swords were linked to the Lord of the Pits. Perhaps Shadow Swords, when unattended and fairly close to the Lord of the Pits, can take on a physical form, like the shadow man that Rhue plunged against down there.

Rhue's sword only seems to go crazy against Shadow Swords if nobody alive is holding them (which would work with the 'Shadow Swords take on physical forms when alone and near Lord of the Pits' idea). I mean, he knocked the blade in Lide away (though I can't imagine why he took his sweet time in doing so) while nobody had picked it up. He didn't attack Ghost Horror itself until shortly after it fell from Lyrra's dying hands. On that attack, I don't think the Shadow Sword had anything to do with Rhue's stab; he's kinda been on-edge lately (and, with all crazy things considered, who can blame him?), so he just reflexively dealt with, in his mind, another attacker. I could always be wrong, though.
