You have a lot to learn.
"You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat." (Albert Einstein, when asked to describe radio)

Roger that.

Back on topic, I enjoy anime more because of the filler, which adds more story, and the sound, voice acting, and music, because it adds a lot more to the experience for me.

I think that generally manga are much better than their respective anime.

I've allways been partial to anime. Cant beat the way everything explodes realy dramaticly for no reason at all. You just cant get that on normal paper.

Full Metal Alchemist RULES. I'm on episode 22 right now and I can't get enough of it. Fortunately it goes beyond the standard 26 episodes
"Can I eat him?"
I always go UGH :!: at those moments.

And I've never read manga so I can't really decide, but since I never read anything I suppose anime will be more my thing.

As I said about the whole thing, I'm not big into the whole scene, but here are some observations I've made about FMA while reading the manga and watching the anime.

The manga seems to contain a much better plot in general, with interesting character developments, inner conflicts, and hidden motives.

The anime has all of these, until the part where they meet up with thier teacher. Apparently, this is where the production of the show caught up with the same point in the manga, and the studio no longer had a set story to go by. Of course, the story varied at points before that, so maybe it was intentional.

The anime certainly has more 'action', but some of the plot twists they introduce don't quite make sense. This may be another result of poor planning.

Anyway, I won't reveal what happens after 22, Kyle, but even with some plot holes and weak character developments it's a pretty neat show.

I don't know if this is the case with all animes/mangas, so I can't really vote on which I like better. I can only have an opinion in this case. :P

Actually, I prefer the anime of FMA over the manga. The story did deviate a lot when Ed met his teacher, but it got really good, too. I don't even know how the manga ends up getting on track now, since from what I've seen, it skipped the introduction of Wrath.

The anime also has some extra episodes with plot and character development. Even if they are filler, they contribute to the plot pretty well.

I'm currently all caught up, when (copy into notepad or something for HUGE SPOILERS of episode 42 to 47) Scar has made Al into the Philosopher's Stone, and Sloth and Lust are dead. Lust was such a great character, though... It's not fair. WRATH BETTER DIE NEXT!!!
