Ephidel was my favorite badguy, because he wasn't just being tricked like almost every other bad guy, but his death was so random and pathetic. Why didn't he just teleport away like everywhere else he goes?

I was never able to beat it, I've been stuck on the gate of happieness for along time. On the other hand I've beaten the sequel and gotten every monster in the game exept Watabou(Because you need to beat DWM1 to get it)
