Hey, You made a reference to my Midian/Headhunter Theory, I feel special. Anyway, has anyone noticed 2 occurences in the game where rhue says he likes it underground? There was one just after he killed fligg in episode 1, where he mumbles something about liking it in the cave. Much better in episode 3...
Scatha says something about caves being good and stuff...
Rhue: (Strange, you kind of understand what shes saying, dont you rhue?)
Rhue: (No! I would never trade the the sunlight for this)
Scatha: Whats so good about the sun and light? All, it does is expose you flaws.

im liking these made up of different aura's idea becaus eit would explain alot

for instance, if you look at some of the books in Japoga's (is that how you spell it?) lab it seems to be random numbers but he has an emotianal and unexplained responce to each one saying that it seems right to him or that its wrong but he doesn't know why

i've always considered the possibility that his sword holds the aura of everyone he kills

when did slade and strata meet? they know eachother right? and they don't like eachother... or is he referring to kygar who reminds even rhue of strata...
That would point to slade knowing that cesta (whom he's after) work together.
Could that also be the reason why he suddenly pops up to defend rhue at the bridge and kills the headhunter? Or did he had to do anything with the headhunter? was he supposed to meet with him? i know that this has nothing to do with the consciousness of the blade, but it involves slades past which we do see in that cutscene...

I see the alternative endings more in a way where you only have one real ending and then a couple of endings that have to do with some of the character's future life, based on some decisions you made in the game. I just hope hte true story won't be left out of the loop if you get ending x, because then everyone will be going for the "real" ending anyway.

have you noticed the times that rhue has been kind of schizofrenic? that conversation with scatha is one of them

Schizophrenia is a disorder characterized by the inability to retain the context of ones' actions. It typically involves inappropriate emotional responses to events, because the victim is unable to distinguish which phenomena are reliable. The most typical example is hearing imaginary voices. Everybody hears internal voices; it's part of the process of thinking. However, an individual with schizophrenia can be unable to recognize their own thoughts.

Naturally, this all has nothing to do with Rhue. Many people are confused by the apparent etymology of the coined term "schizophrenia" and believe that it means something entirely other than it does. Rhue does exhibit an odd duplicity of nature, but this is hardly the strongest evidence that his memories of the past are confabulated from those of more than one person.

Of course, people who play electronic RPGs do not have a good history of interpreting evidence that somebody is displaying a mixture of two distinct individuals' personalities. The most notable example where this occurs is obviously in Final Fantasy 7. Towards the end of the game, the story comes right out and explains what's been going on, but thousands or millions of drooling Aeris fanboys couldn't process the implications. To wit, throughout the first half of the game, you famously have many choices where you can decide whose personality will dominate Cloud's behavior. This plays an important dramatic role in exposing the hero's duality of character. However, even after seeing what was really going on, people still believed that it had to have something to do with resurrecting Aeris! Why would you have so many opportunities to chose whether or not to be nice to her otherwise? they asked, blatantly ignoring the character development role those choices played, and, even more profoundly, the fact that some of the choices had nothing to do with Aeris, but were related to whether Cloud would be nice to Tifa!

Sorry about the rant, but it annoys me how dim people can be in interpreting evidence.

ahum... that's what i was talking about... that discussion you quote is what i spoke of in my previous post and the question i asked was wether it
might mean that they knew eachother BEFORE EPISODE 1... according to their dialogue ... or is it that slade mixes strata up with kygar... :? *sigh* NEVERMIND...
/feels dumb for letting somebody else mindlessly repeating his own point, while not shedding any light on the question asked.../

I don't think Slade thought Strata was Kygar, because if he did, he probably wouldn't have just said "I know You" he would have arrested him right then and there, no questions asked.

From Slades memories, Slade had 2 sisters. Unlass Lun just didn't show a brother for some reason, or theirs plastic surgery on The Way, I doubt thats the relation. I think he might have been Scatha's boyfriend from before the burn. It also explains why Scatha thinks all guys think of women as trophies, just like Strata did.

Well, that's a pretty good theory... If it's not that, it's probably something we couldn't have thought of yet. Or, maybe Lun forgot about it and is never gonna explain this.

But of course, we all know Lun reads our theories and strives hard to make sure they're all wrong, so I'm sure we'll know eventually.

Rhue kills Traziun!

Good, now it won't happen.
