#rf makes me wonder

Postby Glenn47 » Fri Oct 22, 2004 12:32 am

They kept telling me to shut up about the concept of love because I'm 15. Apparently just because I've never experienced love means I know absolutely nothing about anything. Yes, I know that 15 year olds think they know more than they do, and that I haven't had as many quote "life experiences" as others, but that still doesn't mean they should condescend me. "Time for the kids to go, the grownups are talking." Bullshit.

Sorry, I'm just venting. Everyone agree with me. AGREE!!!

DSOK, don't even say it. Yes, you know what I mean. So just don't. :D

EDIT: Ps, I say that everyone who is capable go in there tomorrow and bullshit them to insanity. Excell, give'em hell.

actually I might have had a love experience when i was fifteen, cant really decide though, I was and probably still am to young to really tell my feelings apart. Couldn't stop looking at her though ;)

I get a lot of "you're still young" comments from many poeople, and I accept it, being young rules!!

There are many things that teenagers may not really get, but love is simply not one of them. They may even have a better idea of what pure (a la Romeo and Juliet) romantic love is like than older adults, for whom love can me entangled with so many other pressing issues.

There are many complexities associated with romantic love, which teens may not fully appreciate, relating to things like sex, children, money, long-term planning, etc. Even so, adolescents generlally have a pretty fair (but merely incomplete) idea how these complications work. Moreover, these issues are entirely secondary to the state of being in love itself. They are attendant upon a serious romance, but they actually have very little to do with the romance itself.

I fell in love when I was 15. I'd been attracted to girls before, but this was different. I couldn't stop thinking about her; I couldn't sleep; I spent every possible moment with her. She liked me, but she never felt as strongly, and eventually this difference led to a lot of acrimony between us.

I haven't seen that particular girl in years. When I was 19, I fell in love again, ultimately even more deeply, and that woman I married. Still, my first love, from high school, will always have an important place in my thoughts and memories.

#rf?
"You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat." (Albert Einstein, when asked to describe radio)

love is tricky, you canät really say anything clear about it because it varies from person to person.
