You're allowed to say fucking moron... infact, I suggest you call several people fucking morons every day. Well, back on topic, I'd like to know where the song was played as well.

============================================
Evil
e·vil ( P ) Pronunciation Key (vl)
adj. e·vil·er, e·vil·est
Morally bad or wrong; wicked: an evil tyrant.
Causing ruin, injury, or pain; harmful: the evil effects of a poor diet.
Characterized by or indicating future misfortune; ominous: evil omens.
Bad or blameworthy by report; infamous: an evil reputation.
Characterized by anger or spite; malicious: an evil temper.

n.
The quality of being morally bad or wrong; wickedness.
That which causes harm, misfortune, or destruction: a leader's power to do both good and evil.
An evil force, power, or personification.
Something that is a cause or source of suffering, injury, or destruction: the social evils of poverty and injustice.
============================================

Darth Vader was about as evil as you can get, his final act of redemption does not change that. The same applies to Strata, and in some cases even Rue. He put's his wanderlust of Serena above all else and as a result, people around him suffer for his cause. For the most part that's pretty evil.

And to add a further note, life is the biggest cliche of them all. So it's sort of hard to base a story about a person without including any of these. I'm quite sure that every story holds at least one "cliche", that's why I try to avoid using the word because it's so losely defined by nature. Most anything can be pointed out and labeled as a "cliche".

Very common RPG cliches in reference to how corny you can make the plot.

If you're going to over-analyse, file in behind Apophis. He got here first.

:twisted: Dark side is my master!! But, hey, Rhue not Skywaker! (i hope :D ). Darth Vader was cool - cold, strong and very cruel. Strata is cruel and strong (or so he was :lol: ) but stupid. I hope he'll be the last boss, then i'll (my english not so good and i can't remember the word i need...) ... i'll smash him and... stupid language.... im out of here! :cry:

sometihng tells me that lun has a very original plot for nthe "final boss"
it will be a plunge, no doubt about it, rhue will probably know every blade art there is, he will have a high dmg thresh and so will his fo, no 4 step injuries here

we need to make an online plunge game...

Unless the plunge is highly modified from its usual form, that will suck. The plunge as it stands would not make a good final battle. Plunges are either quite easy, totally impossible, or essentially random in their outcome. I don't like the idea of refighting the last boss time after time, just waiting to get lucky enough to win.

I would love a plunge (or two, or three, ...) as the final battle(s), but it's true what DSOK says about it being very stat and luck dependant.

This could easily be solved by implementing a couple of different combinations in stats for the end boss depending on your own stats.

I still refuse to believe The Way will ever end... but I'd bet on a plunge if anything.

Well, maybe the best thing would be the real fight in the normal battle system, then a plunge just to get in the mood for the ending

I would anticipate (and prefer) it working in the other order--first the plunge, then the regular battle--although it could work the way you have suggested. Having it end with a plunge would make it rather like the ending of Final Fantasy 7, which had three boss battles, then a chance for Cloud to omnislash the real Sephiroth.

Maybe, and just maybe the "final boss" will have his stats dependant with rhues stats, it could be done.
anyways, the way doesn't seem like a game that will have a normal final battle.
