Bush is a flaming moron, and Kerry is a flip-flop that resembles Bert from Sesame Street. Neither deserves presidency. End of story.

I could be the president of Australia no doubt.

Wait.. You're saying that America has too many things to deal with than to elect a better and more competant president?

either president would suck. They both have to deal with terrorism and attacks on the USA, which is tough.

Bush was dealt a shitty hand of cards, people don't realize that. Let him finish what he started, let him pick up his own trash. People also have this image that Bush wakes up everyday and says, "How can I piss off America more today?" Bush is only trying to do in our best interest, but people think it's soooo easy dealing with terrorists and threats against the nation. You wanna be the fuckin' president of the USA? No, you will never achieve approval, it's impossible during a time like this. How would you deal with threats against the country that kill 10,000 plus people? You have a brilliant idea? The man is trying to keep us safe at home, and believe me, if Kerry takes office and pulls out of iraq and middle east, and a few weeks later we are attacked by those savages. You will see a change of opinion about Bush and what he attempted.

Now don't you lecture me on the iraq deal and the specifics of Bush's wrongs, just remember, how the fuck would you guys deal with the threat of terrorism AND TRY and satisfy all 400 million people of the USA?

Fuck if it were up to me, I'd blow the fuck out of that entire trash middle east.

George W. Bush's entire presidency is an atavism. He was elected on the basis of family name recognition and a willingness to fight for a personal victory even when it went against what most of the country wanted. His foreign policy has been based upon the need to mend his father's wounded honor.

I think having a priority requires some form of thought, which Bush is far from capable of.

Okay Liberals.

Please explain to me exactly WHY Bush is a bad president. If you can do it(especially DSOK, Greatchickenman and Impossible) I may think your political opinions are worth something. If not(which is what will probably happen) I will just throw you into the ABB category. Also explain why Kerry is a good candidate. Please. For once. EXPLAIN YOURSELVES WITHOUT JUST INSULTING BUSH!

I said it before: Bush's presidency is an atavism.

I'm sure that Bush himself doesn't believe that he invaded Iraq just to salvage his father's good name, but whether he believed it or not is irrelevant, because that is why he did it. The elder Bush (who was a intelligent, principled, and qualified statesman) didn't finish off Saddam Hussein, almost certainly because he feared it would entrap American forces in a morass (which probably would have been much worse then, since Saddam's political infrastructure was in better shape). But as soon as the war was over, people were second-guessing that move. The problems caused by Iraq over the next ten years reinforced the idea that a mistake had been made, and that made George H. W. Bush look very, very bad.

So as soon as he became president, even before September 11, 2001, Bush began planning an invasion of Iraq. Why did he do this? I think that Bush believed that Saddam Hussein was involved with Al Queda; I think he honestly believed that Iraq had stockpiles on non-conventional weapons. But that he believed it is no excuse. He believed it because it was convenient and fit with his worldview. Everything he decided was colored by the fact that Saddam Hussein's continuing regime was a blot on his family's honor.

You may choose not to believe this evaluation. But there are only two other alternatives. One--Bush believed that Iraq was dangerous solely on the basis of an impartial evaluation of the available intelligence. If this is the case, he's too stupid to be leading America; the evidence was really that weak. If you go back and look at the actual data, without all the spin, it is nigh impossible to conclude otherwise. (That is not to say that there was any evidence that Iraq's weapons weren't a threat either, but neither is there any such evidence about, say, India.)

Two--Bush had some entirely different reason for invading Iraq. In this case, he's lied about everything involved. Again, this makes him a bad president.

1) The man can't speak the english language without making up a word or saying a word incorrectly.

This makes the United States look even worse than it does by completely ignoring the UN. It also makes it very difficult for anyone to take him as a threat or be willing to join him.

2) He doesn't give shit about the environment, health care or scientific research.

Some people find most of these major issues, I on the other hand, do not give a crap about health care. Fetuses are free game for research, infact, you can take any southerner and use them for scientific studies.

3) He is against abortion and gay marriage (at least a little more than Kerry).

Again, some people find these to be major issues. But I don't give a shit what happens to homosexuals or ... babies? Hell, you should have a choice of aborting up to the age of 2 years.

4) He is Texan.

Yeah, I win.

6) He has no idea what is going on in his administration.

Heres a little piece from Real Time with Bill Maher, take in mind he is completely against Bush.

"Thank you. Okay. Let us – let's move on from foreign affairs a little bit because I thought there was some very encouraging news about the environment in the paper this week. It said – the New York Times described it as a striking shift in the way the Bush Administration has portrayed the science of climate change. For the first time, it seems like people in the administration actually got around to saying, yes, people are responsible for global warming. So I was going to say, congratulations, President Bush, you're a little late to the party, but I stay up late. Great. [laughter]

Then I read the next day in the paper, the New York Times asked him about this. They said – it was signed by Mr. Bush's Secretaries of Energy and Commerce and his Science Advisor – and they asked why the administration has changed its position, and President Bush said, “Uh, we did?” [laughter] [applause] Which – this is why I used to read him the paper every week, because he obviously doesn't read the paper. He said, “Uh, we did?” I don't think so."
