I'm saying from what I can see so far, you've stolen shit from countless other games, yea a few new completely vapid ideas have been randomly thrown in to make it seem original, but until you can throw in some actual decent evidence, or actual progress towards making a game, my opinion sticks. Hey, he asked for criticism, and didn't define whether it be positive or negative. At this point though I've made my points clear, I'm just getting the last word in. If he choses to keep this game up I'll stay on par with him. I won't ever lay down and let someone refer to me as stupid, and simply concur with their statement. I gave a piece of advice, and while it was not what he SPECIFICLY asked for it was still relevant to the subject at hand. It was just my opinion that he was trying to decorate a non-existant house.

It's hard making games, I know I've tried a couple of times. I've tried pascal, delphi, rm- 95, 2k, and 2k3. As well as a brief attempt at gamemaker. My patie4nce is just too low though. I think i'll settle with writing epic novels instead of transforming my ideas into a game. Might not even do that since i'm so damned lazy

It's hard to create original ideas since there has been quite a few things, I suppose he could simple make up names for classes, such as exchanging 'ninja' with 'Yexpcy', same skills and stats only a different name. Lay off him for stealing the names for things, it's not like you stop playing a game because one of the avaliable classes has a name identical to a class in another game?
This is not the first game thread on this board, DarkKnight87 posted his soccer game, wich I dunno how it's progressing, here, and a few attempt to make an online plunge game has also been seen here.
I recall hearing the term journeman once, and that was in morrowind. "Journeymans lockpick" better than "Apprentices lockpick".

What will the out of battle system be like? Any possibility of nonbattle classes, like trader?

Out of battle it's going to be a 3/4 view. I haven't thought about a trader class at all, actually. I think that would be hard to implement in this type of game, but I would be willing to give it a try.

I'm going to make a new topic for this, because this one got ugly with all the fighting.

Your idea is trash. You could never pull it off. You would need an enormous team of people willing to work on it(and you have no friends, obviously, which is why you could never get this team together). Want proof? You managed to ally the most insulting and hateful people on the board together. Only someone truly despised by the world could do that. Secondly, you cared more for correcting someone's grammar than defending your own game. This either means one of two things. Number one, you are a grammar freak. Considering half the corrections you made are wrong, I doubt that. Number two, you know your game idea sucks and you don't want to admit it. See FF and Maple Story? Yeah, I think they want you to remove your mouth from their penis. In fact, I think this whole community does.

Also, instead of defending your idea without attempting to take ANY form of constructive criticism, no matter how harsh it was, you insist on continuing to defend every idea you have. Just explain to me this. What in hell's name is a Journeyman, what does he do, what are his skills. I only skimmed your initial post and went immediately to laughing at your pitiful attempts to defend yourself. See, I don't hate you as much as everyone else here does.
