The year of the new Civil War. According to John Titor

Postby Greatchickenman » Sat Jan 01, 2005 9:31 am

http://www.johntitor.com/

This is a site about this guy that is supposedly from the future. He comes back in time and tells everyone on this internet chatboard about the future.

Its all bullshit, but its funny and a good way to start off the new year.

HAHA YOU ARE SO FUNNY FOR BEING A CLOSED MINDED FUCK AND NOT EVEN ALLOWING FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF SOMETHING BEYOND YOUR UNDERSTANDING. LETS ALL JOIN THE GREAT BIG CHICKEN AND MOCK THE OBVIOUS THIRTEEN YEAR OLD AND THAT TOTALLY STUPID JOKE HE TRIED TO PULL. I MEAN COME ON. STRING THEORY IS EASY SHIT.

S. T. F. U. I haven't decided whether he's real or not, but so far all the predictions he's made have come true, so I'm waiting to see what develops this year. And particularly in 2012.

if this guy is telling the truth he is probably in some serious trouble for releasing this information
i remain skeptical but im still reading the site

it IS quite useful that he just "doesn't understand" what the problem is that 5100 can fix

I still believe that going back in time at all would cause a Time Paradox. Because if you messed with the past and somehow accidentally stopped the civil and nuclear war, then your time machine would never be made.

Bill, first of all, I don't believe you understood a word he said about time travelling and string thoery.

You try travelling through a 4th dimensional plane. Tell me how easy it is.

Yes, many of his predictions have come true, and its really creepy too. We'll just have to wait and see what happens this year. Not untill all of his predictions come true will I ever believe it.

Being skeptical is not a bad thing. Being a skeptic is a procedure, not a position. I asses the situation then decide whether I should believe it or not. People will cheat you out of a lot of things for being too naive or gullible.

Just because you don't understand it doesn't mean that its right, Bill. Wait. never mind. that would mean you think almost everything is right. :P

Hmm.. Russia and the US nuke everybody and yet there is no nuclear winter, in fact solar power is a huge industry... seems like a physics professor or someone studing temporal physics made this up to fool people.

Let me remind you that for hundreds of years people believed that they had found the missing link, when Sir Arthur Conan Doyle managed to make a fake one to fool all the scholars that despised him.

You see, with time travelling, you could fix all your problems before they happened, and yet the world in 2036 is still not a utopia. Why is that? It just doesn't add up.

Now how do you travel through time without hitting any other solid objects? over a period of say 30 years you could easily go through other objects.

ANY OF YOU: give me one reason why you're sure this guy is really from the future.

Wasn't the coming of this so-called "civil war" supposed to have started in late 2004?

And also, his parents released a book on him. I SMELL CASH WHORE.

Wow. I didn't know his parents released a book. Obviously they were trying to get some money.

hmm.. There are only five households in the U.S listed with the last name Titor.

Believe me, if they were afraid of a nuclear war, they wouldn't be living in Connecticut or New York.

65. The civil war in the United States will start in 2004. I would describe it as having a Waco type event every month that steadily gets worse. The conflict will consume everyone in the US by 2012 and end in 2015 with a very short WWIII.

(16) There is a civil war in the United States that starts in 2005.

Both of these quotes were from his predictions.

YOU'RE ALL A BUNCH OF DUMBFUCKS!

John Titor was a HOAX! His story came from a tabletop RPG. Even his diagrams were proved to be of other things. Everything he said was bullshit, and none of his predictions have come true yet.

Hey GreatBastardMan. I'm 397% sure I know more about String Theory and time travel than you. Did you even read it? Because every single thing that you have posted as an argument was torn apart by Titor's own explanations. But you know what? I'm not going to tell you what's wrong with it myself, because I have more important things to do than argue with a page-skimming asshat. Guess what, instead of reading the synopses next time, read the story itself. Bitch.

Whatever. We've all just proven that it's a hoax and his predictions have not come true at all. You just won't point out the points that I made are wrong, because none of them are!

I hope it makes you feel better that you called me a bastard. that was really necessary :P

You can't even give me one reason why you believe him. You're just a gullible person. Just because the person that wrote it knows some things about string thoery doesn't make him correct, or his arguments valid. In fact your argument isn't even valid in the sense that you're a retard.

I won't say anything, because I know you're wrong. If you'd care to read the article at all, you'd see that you're the retard.

Point one: Different world lines. Your argument is null.

Point two: Has it been long since John Titor was here? I think not. He also mentioned that the big Y2k scare actually happened on his world line. Now considering he said there was a 2% difference from his world line to ours, in the grand scheme of the universe 2% is a hell of a lot of difference. I can see where things may take longer, as we haven't had any big scares to get us motivated in the way of computers and energy. The biggest thing was the Iraq war and oil prices going up, and even then our lives didn't change a bit. Have you gone without food or water? I haven't heard of one place in the country that was forced onto rations so that our troops could eat.

Point three: Hitting things? Did you read about how he said his car/machine/thing worked? I guess not as you're still stupid enough to guffaw about hitting things while travelling through time. Why don't you try to go back and read it. Really. It's quite literal. It'll only take a minute, and the text is nice and big so you can make it out with your bleary little eyes.

Could all of his predictions be made by any high school history teacher today? At least all the ones relating to politics, yes. But it's all just plausible enough so that it deserves to be thought of and not trashed by every thirteen year old who's read String Theory for Big Crybaby Dummies.

Dude. He just said there was a two percent difference so people would believe him if he was wrong.

And what's to prove you right more than me hm? It's just as likely that he was lying as he was telling the truth. And here we are back at my original point. You can't prove it one way or the other, so at least keep your god damn mind open.

Meh, I say it's probably a hoax. Anything publicized in that manner over the internet is 99% likely to be false. If an American by the name of John Titor actually did travel through time, I think he'd probably find a more convincing way to release his story to the public aside from the internet. Hell, I myself have been culprit to commit such hoaxes (If the word Schizima means anything to you people  , which is doubtful.) Anyhow, it he seems like a fraud to me, although at no point will I discredit his ideas on String Theory (mostly due to my ignorance of them), it still sounds like he's in the same league as the "new age healers", tarot readers, and everyone that's made an cryptic theories concerning the end of the world.
