The Way for RmXP...

Postby Djinnilord » Thu Jan 13, 2005 12:30 pm

...would be great, but I guesss I'm just asking too much of poor Lun...
But seriously, it would make things easier, since he would then be able to use Ruby, which would make the CBS seups MUCH easier.
Once he got to learn it, if he doesn't already know it.

Personally, I think RmXP ROCKS.
Yes, it has it's flaws like every program, but I'm not gonna go too off-topic.
Anyone interested in RmXP should check at http://www.rpginfinity.com.

Maybe someone will take on the job of re-making it for XP in the future...

I actually thought of doing that at one point, but it probably won't be much of a difference anyway, so why bother?

This has been proposed before. Lun has also said before that he'll continue to make all the games in 2k. You should look for the faq. When you read it maybe you'll seem less of an idiot.

2K is good. Lun did a great job, especially in the plunge, using 2K.We don't want him having to learn new commands. Plus, would our save files from 2K interface with XP?
Current games in progress:

Maybe you should read people's posts before you insult them, Bill.

He said that someone should remake them on XP, not that Lun should make them in RMXP.

Maybe you should pull your head out of your ass and realize that that would suck be a completely stupid idea. Why the hell remake them in RMXP? If you're doing it exactly, it's not going to be a tad different. And if you try to change anything, I can guarantee it'll turn out like the runs.

And to enlighten your poor little rat minds further, all of the RPGMaker systems use Ruby.

I never said that it would be good or that it was a good idea. I was just pointing out that you were misinterpreting it.

RPG XP sucks! :x i can't find, where you can CTRL+V new chipsets, where you can use faces (there are no faces?..), and it's really workin' bad on my computer. :(
in order to assess the reality of life, it is necessary at least once to die

RMXP rules, at least, for people who go through the minimal effort of studying some of the scripts and go from there to writen their own. There are plenty of face windows scripts out there and it's not even that hard to make yourself. Chipsets can be imported through the import manager, if that's what you mean.

Already stated. Though you do get points for posting from Israel apparently. Sweet.

Just wanted to clear your point
Why is it so sweet that I post from Israel?

Because we Jews need to stick together! Get Impossible over here. We can have a Jew bash!

Really just because it shows how far The Way has spread.
