way 6 extras

Postby outcast123 » Wed Jan 26, 2005 4:26 pm

i think the way six will be the best because of the extras like side quests.
it should probably have an advanced plunge system plus it should have more things like in the first one when you are at the rabbit race.
Caroline, Caroline, Caroline only guys would say shes mighty fine, mighty fine, but mighty fine only got you someware half the time.

I don't know were he gets sidequests from, but I do hope we see The PLunge evolve even more in future episodes.

He is probably getting it from this.
Recently I felt inspired to test out the true nature of my Rm2k skills so I created a short sidequest minigame which does some pretty complicated crap(at least RM2k wise).

Ditto. All though poor Lun seems to be having a ton of trouble with fork events. Maybe they're about whether or not you were able to win plunges against people who had an uber-powerful nuclear strike blade art.

Some upgrades to the Plunge system might be nice, but I wouldn't have a problem if it was left as it is. Continuing to improve Rhue's skills and fighting stronger enemies is orgasmic enough for me.

I have played some of the side quest that were in the beta (well its was only one), but I think that was just LunC messing around with Dippy.

That might be a while. :D He's still stronger than Rhue when not holding back (which he's quite good at, since he's able to let Kygar and even ep. 1 Rhue last a few passes ((or rather, Rhue COULD have lasted a few passes if he didn't forfeit after two))... and for some reason against the Barrucha and the Fligg and everything else... of course, Kloe's relatively equal to Rhue in-battle, as is everyone else, so I don't think I should put too much stock in it.)

Geez, now you've reminded me that the E6 beta applications might be coming up soon (or in a few months, or years, at this rate :(); I need to go and play through the series again. I swear that if Lun prioritizes all this other stuff before E7 as well... >_< Yes, other things Lun is doing will be great, too, but E6 will keep us busy for a while - especially with this story branching...

It could even be the last episode.
I'm really looking forward to story branches anyway.

I really doubt E6 will be last, maybe E7 will just be very complicated and take a long time to make. >_< Great... Anyway, we have lots of Blade Arts to get through. I really don't know why there were so few in E6...

I've been feeling like E5 was the beginning of the latter part of the story, though. It seems things are beginning to come together more and more - everything before was just leading up to the shit with Cetsa, now we have something real going on, and we're actually getting answers - not very helpful ones, but still, all we had in the first four episodes was questions and theories - E5 was practically about to give you you answers as it ended - like about Traziun's mother (and it probably is Rhue, Gaius is really less likely), the Phantom Slasher, and Rhue going to find the book.
So yeah, things could be ending soon... All I know is, E6 is going to be the best episode yet. I know that because Lun told me a while ago. >_> <_<

I'm too lazy to find the author, but remember that bit of artwork that was all like "Finish Episode 6!"? Well I think we should start doing that more often. Impossible, put it in your thingie of the ways plot, while the rest of us work on some subliminal and some ultraliminal messaging

I also can't wait to play Episode 6. When betatesting starts I'm going to replay and record everything just so I can get the most out of the story and revelations/foreshadowing.

Oh no, the agony of waiting for episode 7 after JUST having finished episode 6... Will I be able to handle it again, knowing it might take EVEN longer than before?!

Maybe we can see this as a butchered trilogy.
First you have the introduction, showing the heroes and villians and a quest.
The middle one has the most battle, conflict and a fast pace.
The last part involves some form of conclusion.
and since most people still doesn't have a clue, and since things have just recently begun to happen, we're right in the middle of it now.

Anyways, considering the forking, we'll have some time ahead of us after ep 6 comes out to decide what fork is the coolest and such.
