I have played it. I thought it was good, except for the amount of bugs near the end. There were several game stopping bugs, but I can't remember if they are in required areas or not. I was still able to finish the game by using the editor.

I just can't enjoy a game knowing that the first three will probably never be made.

I never end up finishing it. I finished the Legion Saga games and they were pretty decent. People here rail on them too much. DS4 seemed rushed. I should replay Legion Saga and DS4....especially since I've been replaying all the Suikoden games.

TTHW was definately a better game. As for ABL, I think that's a bit overrated... As far as some personal favorites go, despite the horrid translation, "Romancing Walker" was pretty nice just because it was a long, interesting game that sorta reminded me of the first Lufia. Legion Saga 2 was okay, but I'll leave it at that. Nothing can top The Way though. There might have been some other personal favorites, but I can't remember.

TTHW is the only game I put up with The Way. Both, if elaborated on and lengthened, could make it big mainstream. Congrats Lun. 8)

Romancing Walker (for its manga ambiance ^^), TTHW and The Way are really the three RM2K games that I enjoyed the most (by far). Next comes the Legion Saga series ^^ And then... Nothing worth saying it there

In TTHW, I thought you had to kill 3 kaibutsu lords (any order) to trigger the *fateful night* event. Some say 4. Gotta check someday ^^

For me it was 4, Elko, Catwaba, Ramsuer, Teachy. I haven't gotten far enough on my seconf play though yet to try it again though.

Yeah, he is in the Cumberland Area. Do you find out his identity if you dont battle him? Also, which ones did you kill?

I fought all of them (I played TTHW twice) except Teachey, and I've never been absolutely sure of his identity (Anderson ?).

In the end (after Winston/Greene's death) :
North : Are you the one called "Teachey the Discordian" ?
Anderson : What do you think ?

I'll try to fight him this time (I've got a save file from this part of the game, luckily ^^).
Juste to make sure Teachey is NOT Anderson ;)

I have fought all of them. I don't remember Ramseur or Orrum that well. And no, if don't fight Teachey you don't find out his identity.

He also says something like "what I was once and what I am now, it's not important anymore." I think he was actually teachey, but he somehow turned in a human.
