Besides, Kygar is sort of useless as a character now.

When you look at it, that whole fight tied up a loose end. IMO though it was the coolest fight in the entire Way series as of yet for the nostalgia.

I thought immediately "OMG it's Kygar. I've been waiting for this, bizatch!"

Kygar was actually quite strong, Rhue is just stronger.

Kygar and Slade had a history though... and theyre both dead now
I'm sure whatever secrets they have kept between each other must be pretty important.. right o.0

Kygar and Slade?

I know Slade once encountered Strata (in E1) and thought he knew him, and there was a theory that he was confusing Strata with Kygar, just like Rhue did in Lide. Someone once mentioned that Strata's sprite actually was based on Kygar's... And isn't Kygar's based on Alex's? >_<

Well, anyway, Slade might have just known Kygar as a Blue Scarve (Blue Scarve... Shadow Foots... Goddammit, does Lun have no concept of singular and plural? I'm glad I can do whatever I want in the novelization. >_<), or it might be something Lun has some crazy unpredictable idea of making work out - like he must with Rhue and Lyrra. And probably Lexus, too (I'm guessing he didn't want to rush that bit, so it wasn't in E5).

As I've said earlier...Lexus is probaly Lun's favorite chacter aside from Dirk. Personally, I'm a Gaius fan, Cocoa always loved Strata.

If Lun likes Lexus so much, WHY DID HE KILL HER?! >_>

And we know he hates Lyrra and Slade, giving them such undignified and unfair deaths.

Slade's and Lyrra's death are the things one will always remember from EP5, I don't think they're so undignified.

Their deaths were highly effective, because they were naturally developed from their characterizations. Both I found quite compelling.

Lexus' death, preceded as it was by a long cutscene, during which I was thinking "Would you hurry up and die already?" worked less well. Of course, since Lexus was 100% poseur, I didn't miss her very much.

Did anyone notice that the PS looks almost exactly like Scatha? Same ponytail.

Are you sure you meen the PS and not the shadow you see repeatedly in Lide, because that one is Scatha.
