Even though we haven't seen him yet (or if we have, we don't know who it is) I think Tetzel should be in the poll. BTW, does anyone else suspect that Dirk might be Tetzel? I don't think I've seen that theory mentioned around here. I haven't played recently and I don't remember why I thought that might be the case, but I definitely remember thinking it at one point.

I've played around with that therory a little, while theres really nothing that woudl prove it besides the fact we know nothing about Dirk, there is really nothing saying he isn't Tetzel either.

Amgard wrote:Strata: He also just became a really cool character. He understands how much of a dumbass he's been, and now he's been humbled by Rhue. He's either going to swallow his pride and become a real hero, or die in shame (Latter is more likely). He ties Traz for most likely to die first.

Actually, I don't see Strata dying anytime soon. There's still one glaring question that I've never seen posed, but which needs answering: How did he get so powerful? I mean, he's severely outclassed every opponent he's ever faced with the exceptions of Traziun (he made it seem that he let Strata win in the tournament) and Rhue (if you fought him). And all other very powerful characters have their explanations:

Traziun: He's got Night Reaper and he's recieved training as a Blood Lyn (even more, since Kalmar probably trained him before choosing Gaius as his second choice)
Gaius: A bit of a question mark, actually. He recieved some form of training from the Blana Sera, but I doubt that's the extent of his power. Whatever it is, we can be confident it's linked directly to the plot. Also, as a little fun fact, did anyone else notice that in Episode V his normal attack's animation looks like Rhue's when his Cosmic Sword Aura is activated? Methinks that may have some significance.
Rhue: ... Do I even have to say anything here?
Slade: He's a Shadow Foot. 'nuff said.

So, based on that, I think it's reasonable to assume that Strata has a damn good explanation for being such an incredible fighter. I think he'll live until we know what it is.

That's not a very likely possibility, actually. When Scatha and Dirk spoke ouside of the Blood Lyn Temple, Scatha made it pretty clear that she knew who Dirk was and said that Tetzel killed Eyashu. That could be written off, conceivably, as her thinking of something else, but she also asked where Tetzel was, which she probably wouldn't have done if Dirk/Tetzel was right in front of her. So, I really doubt that Dirk is Tetzel. They DO have some clear connection, however.

We haven't seen the mist at the beginning or end of the Way yet have we? And for towns like Estrana to be so large, wouldn't they have existed for a long time? That just occured to me reading something in here. Someone's probably said it before, but I don't religiously read Estrana anyways.

On topic, it's possible no one will die in this episode. There's definitely a WHOLE HELL OF A LOT of character motivation already. Deaths, betrayals, intrigue. Everyone has an explained background now, and Sacrifa did open a pit to hell. Maybe Rhue will become the next Buffy and start slaying demons. Who knows. Lun's sure not going to tell us.

I'm not exactly sure what you were saying about the mist... are you saying that the mist was made up in order to keep people from settling? Hmm... to keep people forever Wanderers... i see.... i'm getting it now...

and that's true, maybe no one dies in Episode six. But i'm sure that someone is bound to get picked off somewhere in the game. :D

My guess is Strata, (I don't think he dies if you choose to fight him at the end of the way) This is just a long shot guess though ^-^

Since (at this point in time) no one has voted for the PS, I guess I can be right in assuming everyone here thinks the PS is the final boss right?

That's a silly assumption, there are a million reasons why we don't think the PS will die yet. But he won't.

Sage Of The Wise wrote:What happens to Strata will probably greatly differ depending on if you beat him at the end of EP5 or not, if you beat him he might just lay down and die, otherwise you can expect him to hunt RHue down, though he might do that in the latter as well.

Based on Lun's recent comments about the possible existence of the "Story Mode" for the game, I think this is actually unlikely.

you could still be given the choice to fight him or not you just won't have to go through the actual battle

You seem to have missed the point. He would be unbeatable unless your character is beefed up. This means that story mode would close off major avenues in the plot (or would allow you to cheat and win unwinnable battles).

LunC* wrote:Later on I am planning on giving players the option of playing the game via "Story Mode" which will eliminate most battles and make others extremely easy.

Based solely on that, my guess is that choosing to fight Strata at Episode V's end in Story Mode will either have the first few passes automatically play out without any damage (or any real damage) being dealt, then the battle would just end in victory for Rhue, as though it were a cutscene, or that Strata's stats would be lowered to make him much, much easier than he is in the normal game. It's quite possible I'm wrong, though.

Not that I strongly belive in this perticular therory, but let me explain how you can easily get by that. Scatha knows Tetzel killed Eyashu, I don't remember her ever saying she's seen Tetzel, and who says Tetzel hasn't gone around under the disguise of "Dirk" before in his life and happen to meat Scatha during that time. I think Dirk has some buisness with Tetzel, maby revenge for killing Eyashu, maby somthing else. But he could still just as likley be Tetzel.

Lun didn't say Story Mode would remove ALL battles. The Plunges in particular might just remain intact, although I don't know what would happen with notch items. That would be the complicated part of story mode.
