Maybe Strata dies only if you didn't beat him. (Imagine him butting in a fight between traz and gaius)

Even Kloe probably is going to die if you haven't good relationship.

the one thing i despise about forking events is that you will have to complete the entire game over again, trying to strengthen certain relationships in order to follow different plot lines. now, i'm not opposed to choose-your-own-path kind of storylines, but with a series as big as the Way, goodness, you're bound to get lost somewhere. i like straight-forward plots better, like... INCEPTION!!!

Rhue - I believe so. This is my opinion, but Rhue might die and be revived by some Illuminati. But before then, he might just talk to Lexus and all the people he's killed one last time
Traziun - Unlikely, he won't go down until completing his mission
Gaius - See Traziun
Kloe - Not yet. Depending on who you chose for the hair thingy, I'd think she has 3-4 left to go.
Scatha/Chasta - She is like Matt (Digimon) or Kai (Beyblade) or Rika (Digimon), so I'd doubt that she has an end. She may be one of the only surviving characters at the end, I believe.
Cetsa - This girl's interesting. Tries to change and ends up stabbed. Most would believe that she's dead, but, I think her and Lexus will do something that would change The Way (as if it isn't changed enough)
Dirk - Too strong of a character; easy candidate for death.
Alan - Alanthroneous Phillipe Strapachar will have the final battle with either Gaius or Rhue or Dirk or Kloe. I don't see him as a vital point until the end.
The PS - Interestingly, he's second. I think that although he is basically condemned to die, Eyashu isn't at fault...(yes, I said Eyashu). The sword controls him. He held an Illuminati/Shadow Fusion sword, couldn't keep his mind sane, and lost it.
Strata - I hope not. Strata, in my mind, is one of those bad guys with a good motive. Either that, or Strata IS the good guy, and we're looking at this story through the eyes of the bad guy.

Hope this post brings up more speculations. Then we can have a new topic. Myeh.

Yes, I forgot Kouji, Kouichi, Knuckles, Vegeta, Li, Kentaro, and a host of anime characters. I couldn't just remember them at the time. It WAS 12ish in the morning!

Hey, everyone's entitled to their own opinion. I wouldn't be surprised if Scatha took it solo from Gaius and ends up fetching Rhue outr of Dream Estrana from time to time.

I personally think it will be Strata. He's arrogant, cocky, and generally an ass. I don't think he'll be too happy to be beaten, I doubt in any way that he will swallow his pride, or move out of Rhue's way. I have a feeling, Rhue's gonna end up ending his life too.

I've played through the BEta version of the story mode. In it you still have to touch enemies to get exp and all and you still have to tkae care of your stricite ect... however boss battles must be fought and plunges fought in full. (a later version may simply show teh plunges and the dialouge... (a lot of interesting stuff can be heard in those extended Plunges if you can last long enough without defeating your opponent.) there is also teh walk around. marna stretch will still take along time.
