I cannot recall any indication that the Purpose is everywhere. The Guided may believe that it is, but even that is yet uncertain. In real life, the belief that God is everywhere is a very modern conception. According to Jewish tradition, God stands apart from the universe, and only rarely does he enter it; when he does come to earth--as during the plagues of Exodus, when he enters Egypt to slay the firstborn personally--it is a momentous occasion. In the sixteenth century, the miller Menocchio was executed by the Catholic Church as a heresiarch for propounding the theory that God existed coterminously with the universe. (His interesting story is recounted in Carlo Ginzburg's book, The Cheese and the Worms.) So I would caution against ascribing a belief that the Purpose is everywhere to anyone wandering The Way.

Moreover, even if that belief is held by some or many people, that does not make it correct. Traziun, who seems to be one of the most knowledgeable characters in the game, states that the Purpose is not what most people believe in any case. Although his view cannot be taken as authoritative, it does indicate that there are strongly divergent opinions about the nature of the Purpose itself.

Agreed.

A Wanderer: that was my whole theory. When Rhue gets his aura detached by Jopaga you hear a lot of blana sera sfx. So my guess was that the Blana Sera might be able to do something similar (detaching aura wise)

yes, but why would the blana sera detach their own aura, its dangeraus and what is the use?

As far as we know the purpose is everywere, seeing everything at all times, but in EP3 the we are told Blana Sera came to Mantalan. Since they had to come their, they can't be like they purpose which is everywere.

Moreover, it's not simple thinking of two things everywhere at the same time.

Anyway, for what we have seen now, the Purpose could even not exist or be a super-powerful man. Same thing for the Blana Sera. When they "read" Kloe's past, they could just sensed her aura.

And there's another question: where actually is the place where Traziun went in ep5? It could have been a citadel, or maybe the Upper Way.

I think a citadel is out, as the place had obvious entrances and exits, which the citadels are not supposed to possess. I had previously imagined that the fortress probably existed in the mountains somewhere, well off to the side of The Way, but the Upper Way is an interesting possibility.

I like the Upper Way idea as well. But then, how did the Blood Lyn get on to the Upper Way?

A Wanderer: I'm really not sure what purpose it would have. I was just throwing it out there. Maybe someone more creative than me can figure out a reason.

Yes, but Kalmar didn't specifically say where that was, so people are talking about where that inner sanctum is located.

Who knows how big a citadel is on the inside, and what it looks like...

The fortress where Traziun fought the hordes of Blood Lyn had outdoor sections like courtyards, with entrances to the interior section. I believe this rules out a citadel.

The inside of the Citadel could be miles and miles! It is supposedly a magical place. Nobody has been able to scratch it, after all.

You're really looking too far into things.

Metaphoricly. It's an expression. I know Lun is clever, but I don't think he's going to have the citadels have some sort of time space distortion property that allows them to squeeze large mountanous landscapes within them.
