Yay. I'm seeding E1. Unfortunately, torrents make my computer lag up like hell, so I can only keep it on when I'm at school.

btw: The tracker isn't up. Is it supposed to be?

Heh... as a reminder...

If you have trouble connecting to the tracker... make sure the tracker reads:

http://www.crestfallen.us/torrents/announce

This is editable in most bittorrent clients

I was almost positive that this was changed in the updated torrent from the site... but check it out. Is this the problem you're having?

The tracker counts 4 current seeders

I meant when you click on the link it doesn't show a tracker or anything. I already set the external announces to that address.

Yeah, the tracker's interface is pretty simplistic, and it doesn't offer any eye candy if you browse to it...

the closest stats info you can get is http://www.crestfallen.us/torrents/mystats

Update: ---------------

I added some torrent links on the download page (episodes 1-3 working so far I think). Anyone who has bandwidth to spare can feel free to download these guys and seed them.

You obviously don't have to, as the need for any of these will be pretty minimal, but it'd be nice for anyone wanting to download them - bit torrent style.

6 seeders for E1... thx for the testing guys!

No, no, I mean the link you gave isn't even right.

The actual tracker is http://www.crestfallen.us/torrents/mystats.php

I'm seeding for all 4 as of right now.

There is a difference between an actual tracker that interacts with the BT clients and a stats page.... but you're right: mystats is the place to go for what little info there is

Thx for the seeds!

It's pointless to use bit torrent for episodes, nobody will seed all 6 episodes forever and then the tracker will eventually die out. I could easily mirror some of luns games on my own site, not a problem... Bit torrent just isn't needed for this Lun. Now, if you drew rare anime that is from japan in japanese with english or not in english subtitles then yes, you should seed that because it's hard to find good anime off bit torrent (other then DVD's). But like I said, mirrors are what is needed... not a torrent.

EDIT: nevermind you already started torrenting them, oh well I give it 2 months before the tracker dies. :/

You're probably right, Ryan. In any event, please just humor the bit torrent fun.

You still haven't come the the realization that when episode 6 comes out, torrents will make it a hell of alot easier on the server.

Ladies and Gentlemen:

Thanks so much to everyone who helped test the concept yesterday; I think we've proven that the crew here is technically proficient enough to handle it should we need to use it for an E6 rollout or equivalent.

I'll try to leave the current episode torrents seeded for anyone who wants to try their luck at it and didn't get a chance yesterday.

I think we'd all agree that direct downloads are typically preferred for speed, but in the cases of large files and/or large demand, BitTorrents are quite handy. Thanks for all the help wanderers.

Uhh, Maybe people will download the game off the site anyways instead off of your torrent? That is what most people will do since they will download faster off the site then on your torrent ;x. By the way Lun, e-mail me if you want me to mirror when it comes out. (this is splixed ;x fyi)

If the server goes down from all the downloads in the first few days, we can temporarily take down the E6 DD for a torrent instead.
