Torrents Suck For Small Files

I will reopen this discussion because I feel the other thread was not ready to be locked, not to mention the moderators here suck for locking the first topic in ages, particularly the one topic that has to do with this site, anyways onto my point. Let me elaborate on torrents uses for you. 3 people seed an episode, lets say episode 6. The seeders would stop seeding, or not be able to handle the amount of leecher who will download off you. Also, you won't be able to use your internet period. You will lag horribly so be prepared for that for a good 2 weeks. Also, people might not dl torrents from luns site cuz they won't want to install a torrent program. Common sense guys, torrents won't work.

The mods have more self restraint than I do Ryan. I locked the thread because I feared I might get pissed if you continued to spout misinformation about torrents.

Since I’ve been seeding… E1-4 in your opinion:

I won’t be able to use my internet period
I will lag horribly for 2 weeks (eh? 2 weeks)
And anyone who leeches the file won’t seed it because Ryan has declared it.

BitTorrents were designed for excellent performance under the pressure of many downloaders. I don’t have to convince you of it; the hosted torrents for E1-4 already prove I’m right. The strangest part is: we may not even use them, but for some reason it’s important enough for you to reopen a thread to attempt to make your point with false information.

Wtf are you talking about child? I have knowledge. I download and seed over 20 GB of stuff a month who the fuck are you to tell me how bit torrent works.

Can we have a little test run here? Maybe start with three people seeding and then get a few hundred to start downloading. You know, just like it will be if you start with a torrent download for E6. Now your overall upload rate may go up, but how much will the seed be uploading to each individual person? Unless you have a server or something with a massive upload bandwidth, it's going to take days for anyone to download anything.

And on a completely different note, Froot Loop commercials suck. They're not just a low pressure system, they suck.

Listen, asshole. You're nothing in this community anymore, not a mod, or an admin, and you never will be. And we all know how well you do at managing a website. So don't you fucking tell us how to do our job. If an admin wants to lock a topic, you can't "decide" that the discussion isn't over. So stop acting like you're still in charge. We've got people in charge, and they've done a hell of a lot better job than you've ever done. Now this discussion is OVER.
