It's probably going to suck. The British made a televised series of it and kept it close to the book, and it was mind numbing to watch.

I dunno, I thought it was pretty good. Granted, the special effects had that "low budget" touch.

It was made to look comic bookish so the special effects weren't that bad in hindsight.

Sin City looks a lot like the comic book scenes in Max Payne which is one of my favorite games. I like the music in the trailer anyone else? About the Hitch Hiker's Guide I don't know the story but it looks to me like a Star Wars rip off.

I thought hitch hikers guide was written before star wars... maybe tahts just my imagination. In any case, it's not a ripoff. The book is unique, though as long as we keep the famous faces of hollywod out of the movie it might turn out okay.

Example: Leonardo Di Caprio as Saphod Beeblebrox, and well, Johhny Depp for Ford Prefect

Sadly I haven't read the book either, but I have heard good things. The movie to see is Kingdom of Heaven though. Absolutely amazing looking.

Can't deny how awesome it's gonna be. I have never before said this but....Orlando Bloom looks awesome in that movie.
