That would make more sense, because if he were referring to a shadow/illuminati sword you don't think he'd send his Blood Lyn to their obvious doom.

It's kinda funny, I was the first to post many of the early theories, but since then I've avoided Estrana.

I never actually gave it a second thought when I saw it, it's not like it seemed to fall in suite with the other sword names. I wouldn't disagree with it being his sword though.

Aubuta could be like the most powerful of the Shadow Swords, so it has a special name (rather than a two word thing like Ghost Horror or Night Reaper... And it would be interesting if "Phantom Slasher" were the same of a shadow sword, too).

Yeah, Phantom Slasher sounds a lot like the other shadow sword names. As to the first delusion picture, it looks to me like the scene where Rhue cuts off Jed's head, and the second one the final part of the massacre.

Well if Shadow Swords are able to find it's user or such (i remember reading somewhere this theory, i dunno if it is a theory or it has been proven, that the shadow sword can move itself), then the Phantom Slasher could be a definetly possibilty of being another Shadow Sword.

However, and I forget where it is, but someone said that eveyrone has given various names to call this thing that kills everyone, but the most popular is the PS. I think the other names people call him is Janwen's Revenge, and so forth.

Ahh, found it. In Ep.3 just after the Pits and Rhue meets up with Traziun and two other Blood Lyn. One of the Blood Lyn says:

Creeping death,\.\. the motherless man,\.\.
Janwens Revenge,\.\. the list of names goes
on and on.\|\| Phantom Slasher is just the
most commonly used name.

Thus, even though it's a great point out, Phantom Slasher is just a name people have made for the being that is killing everyone on The Way. I mean I'm not completely writing it off, but I believe that the Phantom Slasher isn't a Shadow Sword. Maybe it is, with a different name. Who knows?


Now with Aubuta...

Hmm... He only says "Aubuta..." so it's doesn't really leave us with much. I'm still certain it's a Shadow Sword though. We know now that Rhue's sword is a Shadow Sword, and all Shadow Swords have a name.

One thing I found when reading the dialogue of Kalmar and Rhue+band is that Kalmar says "I never lie". I found this interesting since Lun and Fwacho have told us that this is based upon Christianity in some way. It's definetly got me thinking as to how important Kalmar really was or wasnt? I'm probably just overthinking it...

i stand by my Rhue is Jeruh one. theres just seems to be a fair amount of evidance that he is lyrra's brother.

Edit: Im just replaying it so the early episodes are still fresh in my mind if i actually get chosen for the beta testing and in the flashbacks in episode two i don't see any little girls with brown hair. theres one with blonde and one with green but thats it. the only way you can get a brown coloured hair is by choosing brown for serena's hair. Is she just not included in the flashbacks or is it a subtle clue?

Actaully three swords are named, Phantom Slasher, Ghost horror, Night Reaper. and somewhere a bookcase has seven proper names for swords. (in estrana somewhere)

That would also be my favorite, partly because although the Rhue=Midian theory has a lot of evidence, I just don't think it's very likely for some reason.
