Come on. The only battles that really require strategy are boss battles. Until you get to Episode 4, of course. Then, the best startegy is to, as I said, hurricane slash them all to hell.

I personally prefer to use hurricane cut in the beginning of each battle, which makes most of my enemies prone so they can't attack me

And then I just smash space until they're dead.

Hurricane Cut definitely saves lives. I never realized the other characters level up, either I didn't gain enough points or I just press A too quickly.

How on earth could you never have gotten any of the special attacks? Driver was in E2, although I guess it was pretty easy to miss, and Triple Slash was a more powerful version of it. There was a silver stone notch item which taught you the next single-hitting attack you had to learn in E4.

Line Charge was found in E3, I think in the Pits, and then a Gold Stone in E4 to teach either Line Charge or if you have that, the eternally kickass Hurricane Cut.

It's not exactly rare knowledge, and we have a notch item/secrets walkthrough, so next time try looking before you open your mouth (metaphorically) and potentially making yourself look stupid.

No, only the stupid questions. But I still answer them, I just sometimes have to add an extra comment to remind people not to make the same mistake next time.
