One of the guys who [according to Rhue] gave him his sword appears to be a headhunter without the blade on his back - maybe because he gave it to Rhue. Plus, the nature of Midian in what could be Rhue's dream would show no relevance - it could be just someone Rhue heard of before.
Could. It could really just be something to throw us off. Lun could turn around in a later episode and go, yeah that's right it's just a stupid dream!
Could
We have much to go on with our theories, but in a world that doesn't reflect our reality they can go by as very little. So really all we are doing is trying to see what theories make a lot of sense when glued together and which ones don't, suggesting new possibilities along the way.
Edit:
About Midian and Jeruh, I find it unlikely that multiple people could be looking for Jeruh. He could be simply dead, like all the other 'victims' of the massacre seemed to be - [the bodies were never found] Maybe Lyrra thinking everyone died WAS an invention of her mind like someone in the story once suggested.. was it Jed? Maybe she saw something so horrific and so signifigant that night that it was so much less traumatic to imagine they all died? If multiple people are looking for Jeruh, then why not Serena [if she exists] or 'Jeruh's friends'? I think although I've heard the name of the person the first head hunter was looking for had changed, I don't think it makes it anymore less relevant to the plot. Gaius and Jeruh are both seemingly VERY important characters to the plot, and even more so with the event of the second head hunter.
IMO, Lun is extreamly cunning. He knows all the things we will try to pick up on, and he uses them to further throw us off track. You never know really.. I have a whacky theory ive got going that Gaius is Jeruh, and he caused the landorian massacre in some way but didn't really kill anyone. He does seem genuinley commited to doing what he believes is right fir the way, or at least it seems that way to me...
Heh, I just realised how much that theory could make sense. He could be leading all the traitorous Guided in to a trap. Damn! that makes sense. Of course it's been discussed before but

"The man from Xor will be meeting us here" "The Phantom Slasher is a tool of Tetzel" Jeez, it all fits togethet now and I see the light.. He is a tool of what he believes is right and Tetzel may be manipulating him.. "If he doesn't remember me.. this is great!" Rhue knew that he was the PS aswell as Jeruh? "So much meaningless killing" Gaius may believe that killing can be justified with meaning.
Sorry, I'm half asleep and can already see all the flaws there so I'm going to bed. Heh.
