So, what you're saying is, the purpose knows Rhue on a first name basis?
I'm referring to Ep2 when Gaius mentions that Rhue doesn't remember him. Does that mean Rhue is some higher concept, too?
I find it kind of unlikely, but witht his storyline, who knows?

Gaius maybe doesn't want to reveal himself in all his glory. Most gods seem unwanting too.. I mean they could all grow to hate him and try to burn him even though they couldn't do anything.. maybe a divine diety still has feelings you know. His people would hate him. Ouch :/.

Yeah, in my theory on some other topic here that Gaius = the purpose, I mentioned that as one flaw.. Oh and in that theory I also mentioned I think Rhue is the Pharaphalyn so yeah, I think the pourpose takes interest in him, heh. Also I think I mentioned Rhue could be the phantom slasher and that is why Gaius takes interest in him...

You know.. Gaius could have edited his memory in some way on porpose, but didnt really mean to erase his memory. Who says the an all power diety can do everything perfectly.. I think thats what we just asume sometimes. Maybe being a god can be hard too. Cut his some slack sheesh

It could even be that Gaius gave Rhue his sword in the first place, and saw the memories of that inside Rhue, which he was suppost to erase - but it went wrong. Maybe Gaius is all powerful but he can't touch the Pharaphalyn? If the purpose created the way maybe, something somehow got in to the world that wasn't meant to, something bad. some reason something is interfering [maybe the lord of the pits or the Pharaphalyn or something]

Even if he isnt the purpose, I still think he knows more about the way then any other character on the way - and I don't just mean characters we know about.

Maybe when the purpose made the way [if it did] it laid down some rules that even it itself could not break. Maybe one of these rules was that it could never turn back time, and that the purpose killed someone, but why would it? And why would it regret it.. Also, like Christianity suggests maybe the diety made the world and gave us choice. He/She/It cannot, or will not change that because then there is no point in creation. If we can not choose what we do, we must question, do we actually exist??
We wouldnt be able to think for ourselves breathe for ourselves ect.

There are just so many possibilities even with my theory alone, and then there are loads of others.. I can't wait to play e6

Also, I'm becoming more and more aware of how much my Gaius = the purpose theory is just unfair, I can justify anything with it.. yeah I'm now sure it isn't true. Heh.

I don't think new people should be expected to read every single old post, but they should at least assume what's been discussed to death already, and always assume that almost every single premise or idea already exists, it's just the depth and explanation to it that varies between theories.

And once E6 comes out (which should be timed with a sudden flow of new people, too... unless that's already started), half our old theories will be shattered anyway and we can all start over.
