For some reason, whenever I try to open an RM2K game (normally or in test play), I'm just getting a black screen with nothing happening and no error messages. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

I've never encountered this.....except when I was on an old computer that didn't have enough memory...

I've has this problem too, on my old crappy computer. What I had to do was to get the least amount of things running as possible, then get lucky.

Hm, everything's normal again now... how odd...

You know, for the first time ever I actually lost to Strata, although it was almost intentional since I didn't even link or risk or anything. And he got a 4-step injury on the first pass, which I usually exactly what I can do to him with the exact same or worse stats. That Plunge is REALLY unbalanced...

It depends how you think about it, both Rhue and Strata have just about the same chance of pulling off the step 4 within the first few turns, so thats balanced... in a wierd twisted way.

Yeah, but it takes like 5 or so turns to see all the cool dialogue between them, which nobody ever will without going into RM2K. I'll have to fix that in the novelization... >_>

CRUD! It's happening to me now! I was trying to replay all the episodes before beta testing.....And there's a chance Ep. 6 won't work on mine......

Oh well...I can kick my sister off of her computer during testing.
