Rebellion!

I'm at school again. God I'm bored. I'm doing a paper on the mythological meanings of flowers and other vegetation. Somebody shoot me with a lame emoticon. Wish something could entertain me, but I just keep swinging on this swirly chair. I think a teacher is coming. Shmuck. Oh well, I'll be thrown out for "The rest of the year" which is about 15 days. NOOOO.

Well okay, I've stalled long enough. One of you (Teen?) should find me websites depicting the legendary meanings behind roses, trees, and other crap. That is, once you've finished your adventures on KoL. :D

I use the wikipedia for just about everything. Of course, the drawback to that is that some articles were written by idiots.

Roses are ancient symbols of love and beauty. The rose was sacred to a number of goddesses, and is often used as a symbol of the Virgin Mary. Roses are so important that the word means pink or red in a variety of languages (such as Romance languages and Greek).
The rose is the national flower of England, the provincial flower of Alberta (the wild rose), and the state flower of North Dakota.
A red rose (often held in a hand) is also a symbol of socialism or social democracy; it is also used as a symbol by the United Kingdom Labour Party.
The rose came to symbolize the Republic of Georgia's non-violent bid for freedom during its Rose Revolution

The lily flower is used in heraldry. See: Fleur-de-lis.

A well-known symbol of Japan, five petaled sakura are said to represent the beautiful yet fleeting and ephemeral nature of life. Its distinctive mark is seen almost everywhere in Japanese art.

June 21, 1964, the Executive Yuan of the Republic of China officially designated the plum blossom to be its national flower, with the triple grouping of stamens (one long and two short) representing the Three Principles of the People and the five petals symbolizing the five branches of the ROC government. The designation, repeats a previous statement by the ROC government in 1929.

(In case anyone didn't realize, I am also bored out of my mind)
Maybe if you know your true love is about to move away to college or something, you can stick this shit in the stereo and make the moment last while at the same time listening to pussies whine about bitch shit. Just like you.

Better late then never... Usually.
