Technically you could go the route of making randomly generated areas. Of course, we all know that randomly generated areas that don't look ugly is THE single most difficult thing to program in two dimensions (in three it's pretty much impossible). It's conceivable, but coding and implementation would be a beast to work out.

And even if we find out that the Way is a circular path or some other unworkable idea, the online game wouldn't HAVE to reflect that.

I just realized the previous two ideas were virtually unrelated. Oh well.

I also just realized that this idea is roughly ten days old and should not be brought back up. Oh well.

It'll take more than that for Episode 7 to be complete, I can bet, when Lun starts on it. Sigh.

does lun have a team of RPG makers to speed up the process?

over 1 year would be a huge waiting time.

a team of rpg makers? wheres he supposed to get them from?

i think its been about a year since episode 5 and episode 6 isnt quite out yet. it takes time to make something as good as the way even if you're as good at it as lun.

Hopefully EP6 will be long enough and have enough side quests and maby story branches to keep us busy alittle longer.

which he (and i think possibly a beta tester) has hinted at

luckily we have rp2k so we wouldn't have to replay every episode. we'd just need to modify our saves.

but for some people replaying sucks. It gets boring after a while.

Sage, how are we supposed to edit our saves?

We need people to explore what happens if say... we get as many negative rhue points as possible. (kill people at bunnyrace etc.)

We already know. It only affects what Rhue says when standing on the pentagram in Sacrifa's study, at least so far.

By using the RM2K Editor of course.

I ment a mix of a slight bit of randomness and more procedural stuff. Actually though, I think that the way nither loops nor does the "Mist" thing, it seems more like its just infinite. Because after all, if mists in the back were constantly destroying stuff, people wouldn't have time to build huge things like estrana, would they? And for the looping thing, if rhue had made a full circle in the short-ish time he had been traveling, then how are there people in the way that have traveled all their lives and never seen a loop? Meh, I dunno, thats why we have lun

Wow, because it's not going to effect anything at all important in E6. So we already know everything there is to about the variable.
