Fwacho did say the E6 file was at least twice as big as E5 (or something like that) :? But, on the bright side of the longer wait, the game will take much longer to play through. *is hopeful*

The noobs will just play through the game easy like i guess, and then the experienced players will whore the game.

by letting the noobs discover the biggest bugs the experienced guys can bother with the smaller, discrete bugs...

Maybe?

but shouldn't some other experienced guys go first because they have experience, as to a complete N00b who would get stuck on a large bug and not be able to help Lun at all?

Unless of course the ppl in the first few waves all have Rm2k experience. :P

...The reason could possibly be that the more experienced pla... not, just let me say, the user who've been here longer (which, according to Impossible and some others, makes them more superior in every way and in every knowledge section of The Way) are "better beta-testers" and could find the remaining, smaller bugs/glitches left in the file while the noobs get the version that is filled with the big bad game-crashing problems.

Just to make things clear - I didn't say that. Lun said himself that long-time active forum members are supposed to take priority, as well as past beta testers (and when you get bumped down five waves from where you beta tested E5, it also feels somewhat unfair).

Actually, I think Lun would want to find as many bugs as possible earlier on so we wouldn't even require later waves. And... trust me on this one, I get a lot of the harder to find bugs. All those random glitches that might or might not happen, depending on how unlucky you are? They happen for me. The glitches that force people to restart their entire game? I seem to run into those a bit.

Ahahaha....
So you are one of those really unlucky people?
Damn.
I find bugs, but none of those random glitches that force people to restart their entire game (or you could just reload from the last save point, if you had any intellect.) I back up my games frequently to prevent this.

Some glitches change a switch for no particular reason and then you're pretty much fucked even if you go back to your save point. It happened to me when I beta tested E5. Fortunately those of us with RM2K who know how to use it could probably try to work out which switch it is and change it back, although that won't always be so easy.

And E6 has so many damn switches and branches...If you try to go find what caused the error, it could take a REALLY long time.

Who cares what wave you're in? The important things are:
- You get to play a somewhat complete version of a game you've been waiting for for over a year earlier than others.
- You still get to find these random glitches Impossible is talking about.
- Your name will be in the credits no matter what
- You have helped "The Creator" which will make you feel good for another year.

Did I miss any? :D

Oh and I'm not a tester.

Not if you miss out on beta testing entirely because you were put into a later wave than you should have been and are unable to beta test at that time.

Look, all that matters is...

...nice going Sephiroth. Prove your lack of talent and excessive noob talents. Well done.
It doesn't matter who tests the game anyway, as long as it comes.

I agree with Burning_Flame, with the addition that everyone should shut up. *waits for Jeramyu to lock*
